Scripture for Saturday

Galatians 6:2 (AMP)

² Carry one another burdens and in this way you will fulfil the requirements of the law of Christ [that is, the law of Christian love].

I want to encourage you today, to be there in a crisis for your friends and family. I know that it's important to just have someone contacting me. I feel they actually care about me and that I am important to them. I find when speaking to my husband for example he makes eye contact and actually listens to what I am saying. That is such a comfort to me. 

Sometimes life just seems to be bent out of proportion and I just feel anxious and all alone. I normally withdraw but one person that I can rely on is my husband. He has a calming way about him and always tries to reassure me things will be fine.  Reminding me that there is always a way to sort this situation out.

I am constantly reminded to focus on real issues, and not think of "what if" they aren't in play.

Scripture for Wednesday - I want to be the person God is looking for.

I want to be the person God is looking for.

2 Chronicles 16: 9 (AMP)

For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth so that He may support those whose heart is completely His. You have acted foolishly in this; therefore, from now on you will have wars.”

Without the Lord Jesus, I feel my life isn't worth living. I feel alone and depressed when I cannot speak to the Lord, I cannot imagine going forward without Him.

Prayer: Our Lord, heavenly Father, in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ I humbly come to You this morning, Lord more than anything I come asking to be the person You are looking for today. Lord I need guidance and I need You to show me the way forward. Lord shape me into the person who loves others, obeys Your Word and truly knows who You are. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen
