Renewing my mind

Deuteronomy 15:5
The Voice (VOICE)
4-5 However, ideally, there shouldn’t be any poor people among you. If you listen attentively to the voice of the Eternal your God and carefully obey all the commands I’m giving you today, then the Eternal will bless you with great prosperity in the land He’s giving you to live in and pass down within your family.

Changing the speech in my mind to fit into God’s word.  I have been plagued with negative thoughts for so many years, I really don’t know how to rectify it but this year I am to spend more time in the presence of the Lord my God and start to live my life according to God’s word.  The thoughts of negativity that plague me are something like ‘you’re just not good enough and things like this.’
I have decided to focus my thoughts around thoughts of God will bless me with great prosperity in the land He is giving to me to live in and pass down within my family.  I am not going to listen to negative thoughts any longer.
I intend to stay focused and stay close to the Lord.  I have so much going for me and I want to get to my goal.
I have a couple of things I want to pursue and I want to pray and give my ideas into Gods hand this year and see how He will bless me.  My life as I knew it is over and I am aspiring to grow closer and work with God this year.  Believing that God is going to change my thoughts and my spirit will grow.

Testing’s can be relay difficult and very hurtful

O my God, You test the heart and delight when it is proven faithful, so I, with an honest heart, have willingly offered all these things. And now I have joyfully witnessed Your people, who are present here, make their offerings willingly and joyously to You. (The Voice)

Lord thank You for being in control over my life.  This morning I dedicated my heart into Your hands asking that You would test my heart so that I may be useful to You and then the person closest and dearest to me says hurtful things.  I really took offense but I pray please Lord will you help me get over this difficult time.  I really do want You to search my heart and it would be great if I was proven faithful and a delight to You.  I don’t know what my heart must look like to You but as Your child draw me closer to You Lord in Jesus Name Amen

Santa Clause doesn’t read my letters

Last year I wrote to Santa Clause and asked him for a lovely ring, he sent me a stove and a washing machine.

This year I though let me not be difficult and I wrote him again and asked him please may I have a Hair dryer, he sent me a beautiful ring.

Do you have the same experience as I do?  Or do you think Santa is just being difficult?

Anyway Santa Clause thank you for my ring, I love it!!!

"Life is full of small, perfect moments!" Tangled.

2nd of January 2014 on our way to the Mall, the kids wanted to do some shopping.  Gaming is the in thing these days.  Now as we roam the shops popping in and out of the different shops, viewing the merchandise choosing suitable games are a mission in themselves.  Finally after a lot of scanning and viewing the kids decided on a War Game.  While they were still shopping we took a seat in the coffee shop across the Game Shop.  Drinking some Decaf coffee and coffee with a slice Lemon meringue, we wait for the kids to call us.  I finished my meringue and coffee when Alezandra came out; we need your I.D. daddy.  Paid the bill and off into the Game shop.

The games chosen and paid for still roaming the shops, to my surprise my husband takes my hand and leads me into a jewellery store.  “Something you want, a nice necklace or earrings or whatever.”  Really?  “Yip, choose something you really want.”  My goodness I decided it had to be a new watch.  I was looking and looking and finally I made a decision.  This is one of those special ‘small, perfect moments.’  My husband really enjoys surprising me with new jewellery.  He is really wonderful.  I am so blessed.

Life sure is full of small, perfect moments, when you least expect it, it sure comes around.  I am grateful the Lord blessed me with someone that spoils me.  Joel Osteen’s word for today is that when God opens doors no man can close them, God will put the right people in my life to open the right doors.  I am expecting great things to happen this year.

Blessing and Honour to the Lord my God, thank You Lord Jesus!!

Anticipation for the Unknown

1 Samuel 7: 12 Then Samuel took a stone, and set it between Mizpeh and Shen, and called the name of it Ebenezer, saying, Hitherto hath the Lord helped us.

This year was a difficult year and I am grateful that it is the last day of the year.  At least I can embrace a new year.  The anticipation of the unknown has always been frightening to me but this time I am going to embrace the unknown and trust in the Lord my God.

I don’t want to stand on my own independence and I won’t stand alone this year I will be down on my knees and I will be standing before the Lord my God.  Praying and trusting in Him.

God has been with me this past year and I can trust and know that the New Year will even be greater.

God bless you and have a good one!!
