How to get rid of the act Part 3

Matthew 5:29-30 (AMP)
“29 If your right eye makes you stumble and leads you to sin, tear it out and throw it away [that is, remove yourself from the source of temptation]; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. 30 If your right-hand makes you stumble and leads you to sin, cut it off and throw it away [that is, remove yourself from the source of temptation]; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.”   Jesus gives us the solution to our desires.

According to the Jewish culture, our right hand and right eye is our most valuable asset. Your best vision is in your right eye and the right-hand hold your best skill.
Jesus makes the point that we need to be willing to sacrifice our best and give way for our best and precious position to become free of all sin.

If I have God, then I have everything. I believe if I can possess God's righteousness I have everything. This righteousness comes with a price. Jesus paid the ultimate price when He went to Calvary to receive a new garment of righteousness. Jesus didn't only sacrifice His right eye and right hand but gave His life!

2 Timothy 2:22 (ESV)
“22 So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.” Getting rid of bad habits does not mean we are delivered of sin in our hearts. Jesus Christ's blood is the only cleaning we can take. 1 John 1 verse  9 reminds us to confess our sin, God will forgive us.

Jesus reminds us that we cannot possess the Kingdom of God standing on our own strength.

We can only enter the kingdom through His Holy Spirit and His power and salvation.

John 15:5  (NIV)
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”
Prayer
Abba Father, create in me a clean heart and a pure spirit. Lord help me to focus on Your Word and teach me the way forward. My habits and my own life falls short and I can never get to heaven in my own strength. I accept You Lord Jesus Christ as my Lord and my Saviour. Amen

Honour God with My Body

1 Corinthians 6:20  (AMP)
“20 You were bought with a price [you were actually purchased with the precious blood of Jesus and made His own]. So then, honour and glorify God with your body.”

I believe our bodies are God's temple. We are supposed to be looking after our bodies. Because God resides within our bodies. We need to take care of what we put into our bodies.

In my youth, I struggled with bulimia. I never thought of the danger of losing too much weight, I just wanted to look pretty. Today I suffer the consequences of not looking after my body. Two aspects that have been negatively impacted is my stomach and my teeth. Believe me, you need both of them going into your old age.

The only way forward is asking for forgiveness, I repent and trust in God. I have gained about 10 kg. Apparently I boarder on obesity but I do not believe that.

God has given me a second chance. I need to do exercises but I am still not in that space.

Prayer

Please Lord, forgive me for not looking after my body in the past. I dedicate my thoughts and my eating habits into Your hands. Please, Lord, bless my life and thank You for my food. Thank You, for the forgiveness of sin. I love and Adore You. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

The desire of adultery Part 2

Matthew 5:28 (AMP)

"28 but I say to you that everyone who [so much as] looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart."

In the Greek context, we see that every man who intentionally looks at or desires has already committed adultery in his heart. Jesus refers to a person who wants to satisfy his/her sexual desires by watching a TV show which has a sexual rating or goes to a club where the girls dress provocatively, as well as the beach where the swimwear is skimpy.

The phrase "... looks at a woman with lust for her ..." refers to a person who looks lustfully commits adultery in his heart.

In other words, it isn't the deed "looks at a woman" which causes the person to sin in their hearts, but they are provoking the desire by focusing on the woman to sin in their heart.

Let us look at Genesis 3 verse 4 to 6 "But the serpent said to the woman, "You certainly will not die! For God Knows that on the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened [that is, you will have greater awareness], and you will be like God, knowing [the difference between] good and evil." And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food and that it was delightful to look at, and then a tree to be desired in order to make one wise and insightful, she took some of its fruit and ate it; and she also gave some to her husband with her, and he ate."
Eve fell through allowing Satan to establish unholiness and rebellion within her heart. She desired the fruit resulting in her eating it. The action gave birth to her sin. Jesus doesn't speak of unexpected or unavoidable exposure to sexual temptations He says it the purposeful desire. We can be tempted to sin, but we are able to resist it. Making us victorious.

“Sow a thought, reap an action; sow an action, reap a habit; sow a habit, reap a character; sow a character, reap a destiny.” Stephen R. Covey. This is exactly what Jesus is talking about.
Remember this does not only pertain to men but also women.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, help us to keep Your Word close to our hearts, we are so easily misled. Please protect us and give us the necessary strength to withstand the devil in our hour of temptation. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

Who is The Adulterer? Part 1

www.isavta.co.il

I hope this teaching will inspire you today.

Matthew 5: 20 AMP

“For I say to you that unless your righteousness (uprightness, moral essence) is more than that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”

We know God evaluates us according to our intention and our attitudes. He does not basis this on our physical actions. These actions are a direct result of our hearts' intentions.

It is possible to impress people, but God knows our hearts. The inner motive of our hearts is known to God.

We see Jesus speaking to the spiritual leaders of the time because they made God's commandments powerless through their traditions.

They based their righteousness on their traditions and rituals and also condemned other people who couldn't keep up with their traditions of the law.

We see in Matthew 5 verse 20 “For I (Jesus) tell you that if your righteousness is not more abundant than those of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”  After this reprimand, Jesus reveals six attitudes of our heart, which we often justify.

We are made aware of righteousness where Jesus says that a person is not a murderer unless he committed the physical act but that he is guilty of murder in God's eyes when he is angry with his brother and doesn't reconcile with his brother. (Matt. 5: 21 - 24)
Now Jesus comes to the second attitude in which man justifies himself, posing the question, who is the adulterer? (Matt. 5: 31 - 32)

Jesus highlights three key points:
The act in adultery
The desire for adultery (Part 2)
How to get rid of the act. (Part 3)

The act of Adultery

Jesus says the moment we think of it in our heart. We have transgressed the ten commandments. "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery.' But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart." (verse 27).

God says in Proverbs 16 verses 30 "He who [slyly] winks his eyes does so to polt perverse thing, and he who compresses his lips [as if in a secret signal] brings evil to pass." We see that we stand guilty before God because we allow the devil access to our thoughts. Adultery starts with our own lustful thoughts.

When someone lusts after another person while he/she is married, he/she committed adultery.

We stand guilty of adultery at some stage in our lives. People lust after people daily.  The media bombards us with so many sexual enticements over many programs and products.

Marriage is regarded as old-fashioned while living together is promoted.

All of this influences the consecration of marriages. Paul confronts the congregation in Corinth about the sexual immorality. 1 Corinthians 6 verse 13 "Food is for the stomach and the stomach for food, but God will do away with both of them. The body is not intended for sexual immorality but for the Lord the body [to save, sanctify, and raise it again because of the sacrifice of the cross]." Paul says we should not use our bodies for sexual debauchery. Our bodies are where God wants to live.

We need to keep God's commandment and act appropriately.  Jesus says in Matthew 5 verses 28 "but I say to you that everyone who [so much as] looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart."

We will take a look at the rest of our point in part 2 and part 3.

Prayer
Lord, please open each persons eyes today person'set us to keep Your Commandments, we do not want to lust after people. We want to live holy lives. Today we concerate our lives and draw near to You. In the name of Jesus Christ. Bless each person reading this teaching today. Amen.

I am preparing for my future.

Jeremiah 31:17(AMP)

“There is [confident] hope for your future,” says the Lord;
“Your children will come back to their own country.”

Something I want to share with you today, God is in my future. I remember last year when I started my contract with this company. I the taxi took me home every afternoon I would gaze out of the window and look at the fields and think this time next year I am still travelling on this taxi.  Believe you me, I am still travelling in the same taxi.

I received a call from my manager stating my contract ended and that she was checking to see how she could have it renewed. A miracle they renewed my contract, I never doubted that God was in control. I believe God knew I am preparing for my future. He knew I what I want and what I am doing. I just want to tell you, think ahead and prepare and be expectant.

I was sure that I would be here this here and at the beginning of the year, I signed a contract which state I would be here until the next year 2019. I stood on this contract and I believed that it was true, I expect the best from God.

I feel that I am one of the chosen few. I was preparing to come to work this year and I believed it in my heart, I also believe that in the next year I will be travelling on the same taxi to work next year. God is moving things around because I am expecting something great out of His hands.

Prayer

Lord, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, I will praise Your Holy Name. You, Lord, are Almighty, You Lord and All-knowing. You, Lord, are my beginning and my end, You Lord are all around me. You Lord I will praise, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah. I cannot do anything without You. Nothing is possible in my strength but in Your strength, I can stand and trust. I am certain You are able to do what Your word says. For myself and for my family and children and friends. I expect only good things will follow me all the days of my life, because You, Lord have called me by my name. I love You, Lord Jesus Christ. Amen

What lies ahead!

Philippians 3:13 (AMP)
“13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider that I have made it my own yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead,”

I believe God has a great plan for my life. I know I messed up in the past and I cannot go back and changes things. I cannot make it better or even change one of the things I did. It is all behind me and the only way for me is looking ahead.

The next couple of months is a challenge because I want something very desperately and I want to do whatever I can to attain it. I know God’s know the intention of my heart and this is what I want to propose to Him.

Lord today it is my heart’s desire to start with this consecration of my own life to You. Lord, You, know I do fast partially once a week but going forward I want to do a dry fast for one day. I am tithing every month and want to continue this next year as well. I am inviting people with me to church but will try harder.

I am pursuing You today Lord. I am dedicating my life entirely into Your hands. Please help me push forward I believe You are working in my life.

Prayer

Abba Father thank You for opening this door for me, I am sitting here and speaking to You about my future. You know my needs and my heart’s desire.  I want to dedicate my life fully into Your hands. I am making a fresh commitment to pursuing You Lord, looking forward and excited to see what amazing things You are going to do in my life. In the Holy Name of Jesus Christ, Amen

Guide me LORD!

Psalm 37:23 (CEV)
23 If you do what the Lord wants,
    he will make certain
each step you take is sure.
I want to make it in life, I want to succeed. I believe I have high morals and I do not compromise when it comes to things I believe in. I don’t like doing things any old way. It frustrates and irritates me completely. I like structure and I appreciate it when people do as I say.
There are some that just don’t care and do things the opposite way to irritate me. Not the right way.
I always go according to a goal I have set and working towards it. I try sticking to some kind of plan. I like doing it the tried and tested way. It will work out in the end.
God has given me a vision which I believe He will also give me the means. I have a holiday planned for December and God is providing me with the means. I know it seems selfish but truly it isn't. I am also worried about my mother and God is helping me help her. God is great!
I know I am expected to manage my finance and keep it true and proper. I do.

Praise You Lord and thank You Lord.

The LORD will see me through!

Hebrews 13:5-6  (AMP)
Let your character [your moral essence, your inner nature] be free from the love of money [shun greed—be financially ethical], being content with what you have; for He has said, “I will never [under any circumstances] desert you [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], nor will I forsake or let you down or relax My hold on you [assuredly not]!” So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently say,
The Lord is my Helper [in time of need], I will not be afraid.
What will man do to me?”

I was shocked when my Manager called me saying "this is your last day at the office." I looked at her saying "no, my contract is valid until the end of January next year."

She said, "don't worry I will look into this."

I believe the LORD will see me through. No matter who was plotting against me; God promised to help me through! My job was on the line and my relationships. God has promised to see me through. Today I want to encourage you, trust in God, He will see you through.

I was praying all the time, believing in the impossible.  I decided to adopt a mindset of seeking God first. I received my signed letter, I am here another 6 months. Praise God.

I didn’t feel afraid or feel intimidated because God is on my side. I believe that He will turn my mourning into gladness.

Prayer

Praise You Lord, praise Your Holy Name. I love and adore You. You have changed my mourning into gladness. I am so grateful for the wonderful opportunity You have made available to me. Thank You for blessing my life with good managers. Thank You for blessing my life with this job. Thank You for open this door for me. Providing according to my needs. I am so grateful and I do appreciate Your loving kindness. In the Holy name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen
