A fresh cup of tea

Placing a tea cup and tea pot on my tray
On the hand crocheted doily

A sugar bowl with spoon on my tray
As well as a jar of golden honey

The kettle boiled and I pour the boiling water
into the tea pot which covers the teabag

As the tea starts to brew I place a little plate
of biscuits on my tray with the tea pot

Entering the lounge I place the tray on the table
Sitting down I take my teapot and start pouring
the rich flavoured tea into my tea cup

Adding honey to sweeten my tea
I start to stir it until the honey has been absorbed
lifting the tea cup with saucer I place it on my lap
taking a sip of the tea I feel refreshed and start
to relax.

Listen now, my people, and come to me;
come to me, and you will have life! – Is 55:3

Driving through the mist

It’s early morning and it is cold as we get into the car.  A normal morning I thought, as we headed off to the Highway on our way to work.  On reaching the Highway you can see the mist rolling in.

It is still dark outside as a blanket of mist covering the road ahead; nothing is visible around us as we drive down the road with our hazards flickering on and off warning the people from behind to slow down.

Protocol calls for slower driving and adjusting speed limits as the mist doesn’t want to give way this time.  As I look out over the fields which aren’t visible I start thinking how fairy tail likes to seems.  This white blanket of mist rolling over the fields and covering everything it touches.  It starts to remind me of the Holy Spirit which comes softly into your heart; as a gentle soft white mist covering me, from tip to toe.  How awesome is our Lord God.

As the light starts to shine through the darkness seems to fade away but the mist is still hanging over the land, the mist seems to lift here and there.  The movement of the vehicles seems to chase the mist forward but when you look again it seems to come and rest over the land.

How amazing is the world around us, it seems to light up as the sun starts to peak over the horizon.  A new day is dawning and we are so blessed to start the day together.  I am so happy to be driving to work with my husband at my side and knowing that we will see each other through the course of the day.

Romans 8: 1 NKJV ‘There is therefore no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.’

Thank You Lord Jesus for seeing me as valuable to You, Lord thank You also for making me strong and most of all Lord seeing me as capable, trustworthy and talented, thank you Lord.

We serve an awesome God allowing us to experience His supernatural favour in our lives.  Today I choose to see God’s purpose in my life and to know that the Lord Jesus Christ loves me and that He cares for me and I am seen as valuable and worthy of the Lord my God.

Take time in the word of God and see God’s supernatural favour all around you.  See the mist settling down all around you as the Holy Spirit in and all around you.  How awesome is the Lord my God, using the mist to remind me of His great and awesome power?  Trusting and believing in the Lord God is so awesome.

Are you fulfilled? I want to delight my God

Yellow Tulips

I am super excited in March 2012 this year I decided to plant my tulips that were in a pot plant which didn’t bloom last year.  On taking the tulips out of the ground I found that the tulips had multiplied and I thought let me plant them.  I have snapdragons growing and some ‘Afrikaners’ and other beautiful white daisies.

Now with winter almost over I still water my plants regularly I decided to take a look and see how my plants are doing.  On further inspection I saw that my tulips are budding.  I am so happy you cannot imagine.  With great excitement I call my husband to come and take a look at my little buds showing in the ground.

Peeking out of the ground green little buds making their way up to the warm sun light inspires me and reminds me of our awesome God.  I had to remind myself of David when he spoke about the Lord ‘I delight to do your Will, O my God …’ Psalm 40: 8.  God sure knows what delights me and my husband has picked up on my favour for beautiful plants and flowers and loves to spoil me rotten.  Thank the Lord for such wonderful gifts and he is a blessing in my own life.

Be thankful and kinder to each other

Listen to people around you without interrupting them and speak to them without accusing.  I find that we are living in an age where people are just so arrogant and very rude.  It seems that people have no respect for one another and the way they speak to and about each other remains to be seen.

Looking around me we are living in an age where people have so much to give but are more selfish and unforgiving.  On giving they seem to be giving sparingly and they just don’t care about each other.
Let’s pray more for each other and let us carry each other’s burdens to the Lord in prayer.  Pray without stopping.

I have been going through change within my own relationships and I used to argue so much.  It seems to be the norm in most relationships, a sort of an arrogance and self-centredness.  The hard thing to find out that you are acting badly and you have no real feelings for the people around you.  A loveless relationship which keeps you from hurt yourself but in the meantime we are sending out missiles to eliminate our family, friends and colleagues.

It is my desire to share without pretending.  I hope that I can do my best all the time and that I will make a difference in the lives of all the people around me.  Enjoying what I have without complaining, I have so much to be grateful of.  How awesome is my God.

I want the Lord to help me to trust without wavering and to forgive people without wanting to punishing them to always keep my promises and make sure I don’t forget what I promised.

Praise the Lord God

With a grateful heart I stand before You
With a longing in my heart I praise Your name

Lord Jesus thank You for hearing my prayer
Lord Jesus thank You for being near

I will worship and Praise Your Holy Name
I stand in awe of Your great loving kindness

When I wake-up in the morning You are here
When I go to work You are here

When I go home after work Lord Jesus You are there
When I drive in the traffic Lord You are there

I stand in awe of Your faithfulness
I stand in awe of Your greatness
I stand in awe of Your loving kindness
I stand in awe because Lord You first loved me

God has a rewards system

Firstly I want to say thank You to the Lord God for giving me the opportunity to write on my blog each day.  I don’t really always know what to say but through the Holy Spirit I am able to write a little something hopefully to inspire and help you too.

I have so much to be grateful over and I thank the Lord for being kind, loving and merciful towards me every day.  I have had a chance to relax and sit around in the sun and soak up the sun rays for a couple of months.  I have had the opportunity to start fine arts classes and learn how to paint beautiful oil painting.  Praise - the Lord God for giving me the time to do something different and help me grow.  I praise the Lord for a wonderful husband who seems to have nervous of steel and a heart of gold.  All the time putting up with all my tantrums, this man is wonderful and I love him too bits.

Yes, as far as I believe God has a reward system and when the time is right He rewards us for good work done.  I want to spend as much time with Him to grow spiritually through scripture.  I want to draw near to Him constantly.  1 Corinthians 3: 14 ‘He will receive his reward’ I trust in You Lord.
