~ Reach Out if You Wish to Succeed ~ Galatians 5:13 – “By love, serve one another.”
Gentle reader,
Permit me to offer this quiet truth: success does not arrive on satin cushions, announced by trumpets or tapping politely at your parlour door. No — it is more elusive, more noble in its pursuit. It often hides itself behind connections yet to be made, and relationships yet to be pursued.
To flourish in this life, one must be bound — not by title or fortune — but by divine connection. For those who are destined to elevate you may not arrive unbidden. More often, it is you who must summon the courage to seek them out.
Let us consider the evidence: Why is the newspaper sold on every corner, and the soda machine placed on every floor? Because success is positioned where the people are. Even our beloved Lord, Jesus — did He sit upon a high throne in a palace, declaring, “Only here may you find Me?” Certainly not. He moved among the people — to the market stalls, along the dusty shores where fishermen cast their nets, into the synagogues and modest homes. “He went through the towns, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere” (Luke 9:6). His presence was not locked away; it was reachable.
And so, dear one, what hinders you? Is it fear of rejection? The chill of being misunderstood? Ah, but until your longing to fulfill your God-given dream outweighs the fear that restrains you, you shall remain where you are. Even the brave know fear. The difference is that their vision shines brighter than the shadows that seek to silence them.
There are only two kinds of people in your orbit: those who know you carry something of worth, and those who have yet to discover it. Begin your ‘people list’. The law of divine connection whispers this wisdom: you are merely four people away from the person you seek. You may know Jacques, who knows Jean, who knows Didi — who knows the very person who holds the key to your next chapter.
You are already networked by Providence. Follow the thread, trust the tapestry, and you shall be led to your destiny. For success is not merely a matter of effort — it is also a matter of reach. The secret is this: you must step forward.
A Prayer of Connection
Abba Father,
You are the greatest treasure of my heart. Even my beloved husband knows: You are the One I love most dearly. I no longer strive to please every soul — for I have learned, through stumbles and solitude, that such a quest leads only to disappointment.
Relationships have not always been my strength. I often find myself misunderstood, too much for some and not enough for others. And so, Lord, I come humbly before You, asking — please, connect me with the right people. Place in my path those who are part of Your divine design for my life.
I do not shrink from the work, O LORD. I am willing. But I cannot do this in my own strength. I ask for Your supernatural favour to rest upon me — to go before me, opening doors no man can shut.
Be merciful, gracious Father. I place my trust in You — not in man, not in circumstance, but in You. Today, I ask boldly, in the name of Jesus Christ: grant me favour, guide my steps, and bring me into alignment with those who will shape my journey for Your glory.
Amen.

Hearing from God - Matthew 7:7 (NCV): “… search, and you will find …”
Dearest reader,
To hear from the Divine is no small pursuit — it is an art, a discipline, and above all, a desire born of love. If your soul longs to hear His whisper, then let your heart prepare in these three tender ways:
First — seek Him in time and place.
Whether at the break of dawn, as soft golden light spills through the curtains — “In the morning my prayer comes before You” (Psalm 88:13, NIV) —
Or in the hush of twilight, when the day's bustle begins to fade — “Let my praise be like the evening sacrifice” (Psalm 141:2, NCB) —
Or scattered throughout the hours — “Evening, morning, and noon I cry out” (Psalm 55:17, NIV) —
What matters is not the clock, but the consistency. Choose a time, a place, a corner of solitude — and return to it as a lover returns to the garden.
And how long shall this sacred meeting last? Long enough to lay your burdens bare, and still your heart until you hear His reply.
Second — come with an open Bible, and an even more open heart.
Before you read, pause. Pray. Invite the Holy Spirit to guide your gaze, not toward your own longings, but to His truth. Seek it as one searches for hidden treasure — “Then you will understand what it means to respect the LORD, and you will find that you know God” (Proverbs 2:4-5, NCB).
God’s wisdom often comes gently, like manna — portioned daily, just enough. “A command here, a command there … a little lesson here, a little lesson there” (Isaiah 28:10, NCV).
Choose depth over distance. Read until a single verse wraps its arms around your soul — then pause. Linger. Meditate. For true understanding is not poured out in haste but revealed over a lifetime of quiet attentiveness.
Third — bring a heart that listens.
James wrote: “The man who looks into the perfect law and makes a habit of doing so … puts that law into practice and he wins true happiness” (James 1:25, PHPS).
To listen is not merely to hear — it is to allow God’s Word to shape your actions, your choices, your very countenance. The evidence that you’ve heard Him? When His words begin to live through you, seen not just on your lips, but in your life.
A Prayer from the Heart
O, Abba Father,
How my heart longs to draw near to You — especially on those heavy days when the weight of life presses hard against my chest. It is in those very moments that I need You most, that I yearn to sit at Your feet, unburdened and known.
Hear my trembling prayer, Lord. Strengthen me for the path ahead. I confess I cannot walk it alone. My strength fails, my resolve falters — but You, O LORD, are faithful and ever-present.
I surrender all that I am — every plan, every worry, every task — into Your sovereign hands. You know the quiet longings of my soul, the needs I scarcely dare speak aloud.
Please help me, LORD. Be near. Carry me, guide me, sustain me. I place my hope in You.
In the name of Jesus Christ,
Amen.

Israel's Journey and Divine Assurance: A Story of Faith and Rebellion
Once upon a time, the people of Israel stood on the brink of a great journey. They were about to cross the Jordan River and conquer lands inhabited by powerful nations with towering cities. The inhabitants of these lands were the fearsome Anakites, giants known for their strength and might. The Israelites trembled at the thought, having heard tales of their invincibility.
But a reassuring message came to them: "Do not fear, for the Lord your God will go ahead of you like a devouring fire. He will destroy and subdue these nations before you, and you will quickly drive them out as He has promised."
The Lord reminded them, "After I have driven these nations out, do not think it is because of your own righteousness that you are taking possession of this land. No, it is because of the wickedness of these nations that I am removing them. Remember, it is not your righteousness or integrity that grants you this land, but My promise to your forefathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob."
The Lord then recalled the times when the Israelites had angered Him in the wilderness. From the day they left Egypt, they had been rebellious. At Horeb, they had provoked the Lord’s wrath to the point where He was ready to destroy them. When Moses went up the mountain to receive the stone tablets inscribed with God's commandments, he spent forty days and nights without food or water. The Lord gave him two stone tablets with the commandments, but the people below had already turned away and made a golden calf to worship.
Upon descending the mountain and seeing their sin, Moses was so furious that he shattered the tablets. He then interceded for the people, fasting and praying for another forty days and nights, pleading with the Lord to spare them despite their wickedness. The Lord listened to Moses and did not destroy them. Moses also prayed for Aaron, who had led them in this sin. He destroyed the golden calf by burning it, grinding it to powder, and scattering the ashes into a stream.
The Israelites had a history of rebellion, whether at Taberah, Massah, or Kibroth Hattaavah. Even when the Lord commanded them to take possession of the land from Kadesh Barnea, they doubted and disobeyed. Moses reminded them of his continuous intercession, laying prostrate before the Lord to save them from destruction.
Moses recounted how he pleaded with the Lord to remember His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and not to let their enemies say He brought them out of Egypt to kill them. The Lord listened and instructed Moses to carve out two new stone tablets and come up the mountain again. There, the Lord rewrote the Ten Commandments and Moses placed the new tablets in an ark made of acacia wood, as commanded.
As they journeyed, they remembered the death of Aaron and the succession of his son Eleazar as priest. The tribe of Levi was set apart to carry the ark and minister before the Lord. They had no inheritance among the Israelites because the Lord Himself was their inheritance.
The Lord asked Israel to fear Him, walk in obedience, love, and serve Him with all their heart and soul. He reminded them that the heavens and the earth belong to Him, yet He chose their ancestors and loved them. Therefore, they were to circumcise their hearts and no longer be stubborn. The Lord is mighty and awesome, showing no partiality and defending the cause of the fatherless, widow, and foreigner. The Israelites were to love the foreigners among them, remembering they were once foreigners in Egypt.
Thus, Israel was to fear the Lord, hold fast to Him, and praise Him, for He had performed great and awesome wonders before their eyes. From seventy ancestors who went down into Egypt, the Lord had made them as numerous as the stars in the sky.

God's Angels at Your Side
Psalm 91:11 (NLT) assures us that God will command His angels to protect us wherever we go. Have you ever wondered when God sends His angels to assist us? Here are a few instances:
When Loved Ones Disappoint: Think of Hagar, betrayed and abandoned after fulfilling God's promise. Despite her despair, God sent an angel to assure her that her son, Ishmael, was destined for greatness (Genesis 21:18).
In Times of Public Humiliation: Consider Mary, facing disgrace for a pregnancy outside wedlock. God sent an angel to affirm her place in His divine plan, protecting her from societal judgment (Luke 1:34-38).
Amidst Grief and Fear: Reflect on Mary Magdalene, mourning Jesus’ death. In her sorrow, God sent an angel to declare the miraculous truth: “He is not here; He is risen” (Matthew 28:6).
Remember, Hebrews 13:2 reminds us that some have unknowingly hosted angels through their kindness. Despite the world's cynicism, it's essential to trust that God's love for you is genuine. He cares deeply, even sending angels to assist and comfort you in your times of need.
