~ Reach Out if You Wish to Succeed ~ Galatians 5:13 – “By love, serve one another.”

Gentle reader, Permit me to offer this quiet truth: success does not arrive on satin cushions, announced by trumpets or tapping politely at your parlour door. No — it is more elusive, more noble in its pursuit. It often hides itself behind connections yet to be made, and relationships yet to be pursued. To flourish in this life, one must be bound — not by title or fortune — but by divine connection. For those who are destined to elevate you may not arrive unbidden. More often, it is you who must summon the courage to seek them out. Let us consider the evidence: Why is the newspaper sold on every corner, and the soda machine placed on every floor? Because success is positioned where the people are. Even our beloved Lord, Jesus — did He sit upon a high throne in a palace, declaring, “Only here may you find Me?” Certainly not. He moved among the people — to the market stalls, along the dusty shores where fishermen cast their nets, into the synagogues and modest homes. “He went through the towns, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere” (Luke 9:6). His presence was not locked away; it was reachable. And so, dear one, what hinders you? Is it fear of rejection? The chill of being misunderstood? Ah, but until your longing to fulfill your God-given dream outweighs the fear that restrains you, you shall remain where you are. Even the brave know fear. The difference is that their vision shines brighter than the shadows that seek to silence them. There are only two kinds of people in your orbit: those who know you carry something of worth, and those who have yet to discover it. Begin your ‘people list’. The law of divine connection whispers this wisdom: you are merely four people away from the person you seek. You may know Jacques, who knows Jean, who knows Didi — who knows the very person who holds the key to your next chapter. You are already networked by Providence. Follow the thread, trust the tapestry, and you shall be led to your destiny. For success is not merely a matter of effort — it is also a matter of reach. The secret is this: you must step forward. A Prayer of Connection Abba Father, You are the greatest treasure of my heart. Even my beloved husband knows: You are the One I love most dearly. I no longer strive to please every soul — for I have learned, through stumbles and solitude, that such a quest leads only to disappointment. Relationships have not always been my strength. I often find myself misunderstood, too much for some and not enough for others. And so, Lord, I come humbly before You, asking — please, connect me with the right people. Place in my path those who are part of Your divine design for my life. I do not shrink from the work, O LORD. I am willing. But I cannot do this in my own strength. I ask for Your supernatural favour to rest upon me — to go before me, opening doors no man can shut. Be merciful, gracious Father. I place my trust in You — not in man, not in circumstance, but in You. Today, I ask boldly, in the name of Jesus Christ: grant me favour, guide my steps, and bring me into alignment with those who will shape my journey for Your glory. Amen.

Wisdom in Trusting God

Proverbs 3: 5-6 NIV “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.” My journey has been really interesting and there are days when I find it really difficult to trust in God.  On those days I go and make all kinds of plans and I think and worry about the matter at hand and at the end of that day I am tired, frustrated and I feel sick to my stomach.  Are you able to relate?   It sounds so easy when you read these words “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;”  Many times I take my problems to the LORD and I leave them with the LORD and after some serious thinking and worrying I go back to the LORD and take the problems back. This has been something I did for a number of years and lately, I have realized it has to change, I have to trust in the LORD.  After all, God is the creator and knows the plans for...
