You start with good intentions, but somewhere along the way, your focus slips, your energy dips, and that sense of “I’ve got this” quietly disappears. You try to push through, but instead, you feel scattered, tired, and a little discouraged. Here’s the truth we often forget: You were never meant to carry everything on your own. God doesn’t wait for things to fall apart before He steps in. He meets you right in the middle of your messy, unproductive, “I’ve lost my mojo” kind of days. Nothing is too small. Not your tiredness. Not your frustration. Not even that quiet feeling that you’re not quite yourself. He sees it all and He cares. God’s comfort isn’t reserved for big crises. It’s available in the ordinary moments too. Thank You for the gift of another day, and for welcoming me into Your presence. In humility, I lift up Your holy Name: Holy, Holy, Holy are You, God Almighty. All glory and honour belong to You. I praise You, LORD, in the mighty Name of Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Your Word reminds me: “For whenever our hearts condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and He knows everything.” (1 John 3:20, ESV) LORD, You know all things. A personal devotional by Yvette This morning during my quiet time, I read 1 Corinthians 12, and one verse touched me so deeply that I had to stop, breathe, and read it again: “But in fact God has arranged the parts in the body, every one of them, just as He wanted them to be.” — 1 Corinthians 12:18 For years I’ve struggled with comparing myself to others. I try to be as beautiful, as thin, as well-put-together as the women I see around me. The perfect long hair, the flawless makeup, the slim figure.
