A Prayer of Dedication and Trust in the LORD

Good morning, Father God. LORD God, I want to honor You with every thought, idea, intention, and action. Today, I give You permission to transform me. Let my entire life be a testament to Your glory and honor. You are holy and worthy of all my praise and adoration. My life is Yours. Proverbs 3:5-6 (ESV) says, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” Today, I dedicate and pray specifically for my family and friends, bringing each person before You in humble prayer: Jacques, Didi, Gizel, Cuba, Devan, Johan, Odette, Anabelle, Briana, Jean, Jacklyn, Andus, me, Alezandra, Pieter, Andus Jr., Mom, Oom Frik, Elsa, Llewelyn, Zelda, Sean, Patrick, Duane, Nikita, Matthew, Elijah, Paul, Carla, Jadyn, Adam, Jocelyn, Arthur, Dante, Benjamin, Violette, Alison, Elma, Peet, Elmarie, Ben, their children, Douw, Zayeen, Megan, Josh, Hannelie, Alan, Rina, Karina, Petro, Wilma, Koos, Saddika, Kevin, Moosa, Aneesa, Lorraine, Kiewiet, Deon, and Veronica. I specifically ask that You keep Your hand over each person I have mentioned this morning. Where doors are closed, I pray that You will open the right ones at the right time. As we navigate our lives today, make straight our paths and help each of us to acknowledge You as our LORD and Savior. Philippians 2:1-3 (ESV) says, “So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.” LORD, I humbly pray that You will renew my mind. I am encouraged by You, Lord Jesus. Today, I pray that You complete our joy and help us not to be selfish, but to consider our family and friends. This morning, I stand in humble prayer and dedicate my family and friends into Your hands. You are Jehovah Jireh – the LORD who provides. You know each one of us. I bring each of us before You today. Where there is lack, I stand in the gap and pray for Your provision. Where there is sickness and worry, please bring healing. Many times, we feel uncertain about how we will pay our bills each month. Please let none of us feel terrified. We put our faith and trust in You. Thank You, LORD, for hearing my concerns. Matthew 7:11 (ESV) says, “If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!” LORD, I ask that You help each one of us and bless each person I named, in Jesus' name, according to Your Word. Philippians 4:19 (ESV) says, “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” I speak this word over every name I called out before You today. As I sit here speaking to You, LORD, it has been a tough year, and much is going on in each of our lives. I ask that You have mercy on each one of us today, for Your mercy is new every morning. I pray for supernatural favor from You and from people. Bless each person and keep us safe. Let Your will be done in our lives. You know my concerns and worries. Please take them to heart, but most of all, help me be the person You created me to be. Create in me a clean heart and a pure spirit. Give me the strength I need to continue. LORD, I bring my work into Your presence and ask for Your help in securing the necessary sponsorships, exhibitions, and delegate tickets. Open the doors wider that I have already begun to open, not to make me look great, but to help me assist my boss. I ask this in Jesus Christ’s name. Amen.

Reflection on life well-lived; trust; introspection and hope

by Yvette
As the years pass, I find myself reflecting more on my behavior, how I treat others, and how I interpret their treatment of me. I observe their actions and carefully consider their words. I wonder if this introspection is a common trait among those in their golden years. It's a stark contrast to my earlier days when I paid little mind to others' opinions or actions. Back then, their place in life and their pursuits didn't concern me; I was engrossed in my own endeavors. Now, lying on my bed, serenaded by the joyful melodies of birds, hope surges within me. Each new day brings fresh opportunities. I aspire to fill my thoughts with joy, to release the burdens of anger and hurt that have lingered for too long. Lord, today I place my trust in You, surrendering all my worries and anxieties into Your capable hands. I am reassured by 1 Peter 5:7, which implores us to "cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you," and find strength in Psalm 56:1-13, which declares, "Trust in God; He is stronger than any adversary." I resolve to shift my focus towards Your boundless mercy and grace. I will sing of Your enduring love, making known Your faithfulness through the ages. Your love stands unwavering, firmly established in the heavens. You promised, "I have made a covenant with my chosen one, I have sworn to David my servant: I will establish your line forever and make your throne firm through all generations." Unlike David, I am a simple individual, without grand lineage to boast of. In You, I place my trust, and my praise shall forever be Yours. Prayer Lor my the favor of the LORD our God rest upon me and my family and friends, establish the work of our hands for us - yes, establish the work of our hands. Thank you Lord Jesus Amen
