When the weight of our circumstances presses so heavily that we can barely remember who we are in Christ. When wisdom seems to have abandoned us, and we realize with a sinking feeling that we've allowed the chaos around us to drown out the voice of the One who matters most. I'm in that place right now. The glory of God feels distant, almost like a memory from someone else's life. My own attempts to fix things, to be enough, to get it right, they all seem to crumble in my hands.
