Where do you think God will source the resources to meet your needs?

“Giving thanks unto the Father...who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son.” - Colossians 1:12-13 If you find yourself struggling financially despite the Bible’s promises of prosperity and all the prayers you’ve offered, consider this: Where do you think God will source the resources to meet your needs? Many believers unknowingly limit God by focusing on the finite resources of this world rather than the infinite riches of God’s kingdom. Their faith wavers when they think of the unstable earthly economy, the shortages, and the scarcity around them. They ask, "How can God bless me amid all this?" If you’ve had these thoughts, here’s a perspective that can change everything! The Bible tells us God has “delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son.” To be translated means to be moved from one place to another. Essentially, your primary citizenship is not of this earth. You are not first and foremost an American, Canadian, or Australian―you are primarily a citizen of God’s kingdom. This means the conditions of this world do not dictate whether your needs are met. The Bible assures us that God will meet your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19)! You can rely on heaven’s economy, not earth’s economy―and in heaven, there is always more than enough. Embrace the abundance of heaven that has been granted to you through Jesus. Recognize that you’ve been moved from a world of lack into a kingdom of abundance. Rejoice, for the limitless resources of heaven are available to you! Prayer Heavenly Father, thank You for providing for me each day according to Your riches in glory. I don't fully understand the economy, and my finances often fall short. Yet, I am grateful that You have not forgotten me and continue to provide. If I have sinned against You knowingly or unknowingly, please forgive me, Lord. I forgive the person I have been speaking to You about and release them in Jesus Christ’s name, asking that You also set me free. Although I don’t always understand how things work, You have been so faithful to me that I can't imagine how my life would be without Your mercy and guidance. Great is Your mercy and wonderful is Your name. All glory and honor belong to You, Lord, my God. Thank You for forgiving my sins and for hearing me when I call out to You. I am deeply grateful that You are still my God. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Looking up to God, I need YOU LORD Jesus

Lately, I've been struggling with a heavy feeling in my heart. It's like my own thoughts keep attacking me, accusing me of doing wrong things. I know as a Christian that these attacks come from Satan, but it's hard not to give in to them. It feels like Satan is always trying to hurt me, reminding me of my mistakes and making me feel guilty. I wonder why he's so determined to ruin my life. What does he gain if I give up?
But as I think about it, I realize that there's only one who can truly save me: Jesus Christ. He's always there for me, ready to fight for me. Just like in the story where Jesus defended a woman who was accused of doing wrong, he stands up for me against my accuser. I believe that sometimes my accuser disguises himself as someone who seems righteous. The accusations I hear in my heart seem true most of the time, and it's easy to believe them. But just like Jesus told the woman who was caught in sin, he doesn't condemn me either. He wants me to leave behind my mistakes and live a better life. As a believer in Jesus, he reminds me that I am righteous in his eyes. He doesn't see my flaws; he sees me as perfect. And with him by my side, I can overcome any attack on my heart. Jesus went to a special place called the Mount of Olives. One morning, he went to the temple where lots of people were gathered. He sat down and started teaching them. While Jesus was teaching, some religious leaders brought a woman to him. They said she had done something wrong called adultery, which means being unfaithful in marriage. They wanted to know what Jesus thought they should do to her because their law said she should be punished by being hit with stones. They were trying to trick Jesus, so he bent down and started writing something on the ground. When they kept asking him, he stood up and said, "The person who has never done anything wrong can throw the first stone at her." After hearing that, the religious leaders left one by one, starting with the older ones. Soon, only Jesus and the woman were left. Jesus asked her if anyone was left to accuse her. She said no. Then Jesus said he wouldn't punish her either, but he told her to stop doing wrong things. Dear Heavenly Father, I feel trapped in this situation, unsure of where to turn or how to escape. It seems like there's no way out, and I long for relief. Is there a way, Lord? Do you hear me, Jesus? I feel worthless, like I'm not good enough. My life feels like a constant disappointment to you. These days, even praying feels like a struggle. I'm exhausted and overwhelmed, consumed by feelings of disgust with myself. Yet, deep down, I know that you, Jesus, don't condemn me. It's me, judging myself relentlessly. I'm filled with anger and can't seem to align my thoughts with your Word. I humbly come to you, Father, asking for forgiveness. My sins feel like they reach the heavens, and I desperately need your mercy and pardon, Lord Jesus. I am lost without you. Please forgive me. I feel even lower than the woman caught in adultery, unable to even approach your presence. I feel dirty and unworthy of your love and faithfulness. Please, Lord, forgive me. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.

Finances

In the journey of life, finances play an integral role, often stirring up anxiety and stress with their mere mention. As one wise individual remarked, "the cost of living can indeed feel burdensome." Yet, in the face of such worry and fear, a shift is necessary. When our apprehensions drown out our faith, it signals a need for reevaluation. Though the course of life may steer beyond my control, I retain agency over my reactions, the readiness I maintain, and most importantly, the centrality of faith. Thus, I choose to turn my prayers toward the Divine, seeking clarity of mind and spirit to attune to divine guidance. Prayer: Gracious Father above, I am grateful for Your assurance to supply all my needs according to Your riches. When trials loom and concerns mount, may Your Word be my anchor. Your promise in Isaiah 54:17 resonates within me, declaring that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. With a focused resolve on my financial journey this year, I beseech You, Lord, for wisdom, fortitude, and resilience. Though challenges may arise, I hold steadfast to the unwavering trust in Your unfailing Word. Your mercies endure eternally, and in the sacred name of Jesus Christ, I offer this prayer. Amen.
