In a time when the land itself seemed to weep with hunger, a family fled from Bethlehem in search of life. Elimelech, his wife Naomi, and their two sons Mahlon and Kilion ventured to Moab, a foreign land that promised refuge. But Moab, while offering them a temporary home, became a place of heartbreak.
