[Faithful in perpetuity] God is faithful!!

Psalm 119:90 (AMPC)

⁹⁰ Your faithfulness is from generation to generation; You have established the earth, and it stands fast.

Being in a relationship with the Lord is so important to my spiritual growth.  I am learning God’s characteristic and it is awesome to see this scripture.  God is faithful in perpetuity!  That means nothing can move Him from me, He stays faithful.

The knowledge of these words creates an expectation in my heart and soul that because my God is faithful I know He is there for me.  Do you also need to have a real living relationship with the Lord God?  I believe we all do and with the assistance of the Holy Spirit we are connected to God.  The Holy Spirit agrees with God’s Spirit in your own life.

The word will never return to the Lord God void and null, each word that is written in the Bible is meant to help us find our way.  We have these words to instruct and teach us the truth of the matter, God is faithful into perpetuity, we can hold onto this fact.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your words of encouragement today, we thank You Lord for being faithful even when we fail You Lord.  Thank You Lord for second and third and so many chances in our own lives.  In the Holy Name of Jesus Christ Amen

Friday # [This old thing]

Imagine this:  you are not allowed to spend money on clothes because you actually have more than enough.  So now you need to devise a plan.  I came up with a brilliant plan, I buy something I really like drop it off at my mom’s place.  When I go visiting her with my husband and kids, she normally says ‘O, by the way I saw these shoes and thought of you, so I bought it.’  My husband isn’t any the wiser and I got my new shoes.

But you know my mom moved away too far to visit on a regular basis so I needed a new plan.  Well, I still bought the things I wanted, placed it in the cupboard and waited a couple of weeks and then I would take it out in front of my husband.  Get dressed in my new clothes and if he noticed, and he does I would refer to it ‘as this old thing’.

One morning I took out an old outfit that has been sitting in my cupboard forever.  As I got dressed my husband said ‘hmm, seems like you been shopping, new outfit?’  To which I replied ‘this old thing.’  

He couldn’t believe that I have so many ‘old things’ in my cupboard.  Anyway he still isn’t sure of the outfit.

So there you go, ‘this old thing’ works great for me.  Hope this made your day, ladies, sometimes we need to make good plans.  Teehee

[Echoing into eternity] Consequences

Proverbs 22: 6 ESV

⁶ Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.

Children are a blessing and we as parents are instructed to train and teach our children.  Then comes the teenage years, they are difficult but they get through it.  Once they are grown up you believe and trust that you have done the best you could for them.

I have insisted and taken my children all to church and I want them to love the Lord the way I do, each child makes their own choices.  The one thing I have come to realize is that all our action on earth will be made know in heaven.  Our sins have been washed away but God is still going to reward or award us for the good we have done as Christians.  And this is what I most liked about the Gladiator when Russell Crowe, as Maximus said: “What we do in this life echoes in eternity.”

Here’s the thing, you will see what the results of your actions on earth were in eternity.  Praying for people and interceding on their behalf, we don’t know what we are preventing or helping them receive.  

Prayer

Heavenly Father humbly I pray that whatever I do in this life that it may be positively echoing into eternity.  In Jesus name, Amen

[God's Love] A thousand generations

Deuteronomy 7:9 (AMPC)

⁹ Know, recognize, and understand therefore that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God, Who keeps covenant and steadfast love and mercy with those who love Him and keep His commandments, to a thousand generations,

If there is anything you should remember all your life is that our God is faithful with His love and mercy towards each one of His children.  We who keep His covenant steadfast love and God’s mercy for each one of us that keep His commandments, to a thousand generations.

As you focus and mediate on these words today, write it down somewhere thinking it through and understanding what the Lord our God is saying.  God wants us to realize how He actually feels about each one of us.  We don’t have to stress and worry about anything especially God’s Love and mercy for each one of us.

It makes my heart so glad that the Lord God will keep His covenant with our children’s ~ children’ in to the thousands generations.

Awesome, when you serve God your children have a great chance going forward.

Prayer

Lord God help each one of us to realize how much YOU Love each one of us.  We are so grateful for the word.  Bless each one of us today going forward in Jesus name.  Amen

# FRIDAY JOKE [Mental Hospital]

One of my friends sent this to me:

In a "Mental Hospital" a journalist asked the Doctor: How do you determine whether to admit a mental patient or not?

Dr "Well, we fill a bathtub with water and then give the patient:
(a)  a teaspoon
(b)  a glass
(c)  a bucket,
      and ask them to empty the bathtub.

Journalist "Oh, obviously a normal person would use the bucket because its bigger."

Dr "No, a normal person would pull the drain plug!  Please go to bed No. 39
        We will start further investigations on you."

Extend a helping hand [Gift’s from God]

¹⁸ My little children let us not love in word, neither with the tongue; but indeed and truth. 

Imagine this:  you go to the bank and withdraw your monthly salary at the ATM (Automated Transaction Machine) and as you take your cash the man standing behinds you grabs every Rand you withdrew.

Who is able to help you?  I believe God is able to help, the thing is we are instruments in God’s hands that He uses to help others indeed.  When someone you know is suffering and you have the means to help, help them.

We are God’s hands and by extending a helping hand to people in need we are showing them God actually cares about them.  So many people have blessed my life and I can only say thank You because they did it out of obedience and I am grateful because they help me.  I want to give God all the glory and honor for helping me in my hour of need.  Without obedient people, people suffering will not know that God cares.

Prayer

Lord Jesus please remind us that we are nothing without You, You gave so much for us, let us be your hands and feet here on earth to people in need.  Amen
