Scripture for Saturday - A contrite Sinner's Prayer for Pardon

Humbly Lord please hear my prayer the same as Kind David prayed, please help me Lord.

Psalm 51:1-9 (AMP)

A Contrite Sinner’s Prayer for Pardon.

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David; when Nathan the prophet came to him after he had sinned with Bathsheba.

Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness;
According to the greatness of Your compassion blot out my transgressions.

Wash me thoroughly from my wickedness and guilt
And cleanse me from my sin.

For I am conscious of my transgressions and I acknowledge them;
My sin is always before me.

Against You, You only, have I sinned
And done that which is evil in Your sight,
So that You are justified when You speak [Your sentence]
And faultless in Your judgment.

I was brought forth in [a state of] wickedness;
In sin my mother conceived me [and from my beginning I, too, was sinful].

Behold, You desire truth in the innermost being,
And in the hidden part [of my heart] You will make me know wisdom.

Purify me with hyssop, and I will be clean;
Wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.

Make me hear joy and gladness and be satisfied;
Let the bones which You have broken rejoice.

Hide Your face from my sins
And blot out all my iniquities.

"pattern

Exodus 25:9'You must build this (Tabernacle) exactly according to the pattern I will show you.'

As I meditate on today's word I realise that I am supposed to be living according to a set pattern that God has in mind for me. It is my job to find out how I should follow the pattern according to His word.

I believe that I am living in God's permissive will right now, He know my heart and understandings me. I do however want to live in God's perfect will for my life. I am grateful for each and every day God has aforded me.When thinking of the Tabernacle I know the Israelites had to build it according to the exact specifications. I so want to live my life to the exact specifications for my own life.

I know I am the person who influences my life and the people around me. When I am in a bad mood it affects every body around me.

Prayer

Humbly Lord I come before You and I want to pray asking the You help me understand that Your plans Lord for my life is always the best thing. Lord humbly I pray help me do the things You want me to do and not what I want to do. Lord I believe and know that when I follow You all my dreams come true. I know Lord that the things I have done in the past are resting fully on my shoulders, I do take responsibility but I want to pray and ask please help me, I need Your help. Amen

Scripture for Friday - Good Friday

James 3:2-8  (AMP)

For we all stumble and sin in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in what he says [never saying the wrong thing], he is a perfect man [fully developed in character, without serious flaws], able to bridle his whole body and rein in his entire nature [taming his human faults and weaknesses]. Now if we put bits into the horses’ mouths to make them obey us, we guide their whole body as well. 4 And look at the ships. Even though they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are still directed by a very small rudder wherever the impulse of the helmsman determines. In the same sense, the tongue is a small part of the body, and yet it boasts of great things. See [by comparison] how great a forest is set on fire by a small spark! And the tongue is [in a sense] a fire, the very world of injustice and unrighteousness; the tongue is set among our members as that which contaminates the entire body, and sets on fire the course of our life [the cycle of man’s existence], and is itself set on fire by [a]hell (Gehenna). For every species of beasts and birds, of reptiles and sea creatures, is tamed and has been tamed by the human race. But no one can tame the human tongue; it is a restless evil [undisciplined, unstable], full of deadly poison.
