Supernatural Favour

Joshua was one of those guys that hung around Moses and Aaron and he wanted to experience the supernatural favour of God in his own life.  Wherever Moses went Joshua was in toe.  Joshua was really positioning himself to get to know God through walking and talking with Moses and Aaron.  By being faithful in service to Moses and Aaron, Joshua walked in the favour of God.  ‘That day the LORD exalted Joshua in the sight of all Israel; and they revered him all the days of his life …’ Joshua 4: 14.

It is my desire to pray for you this evening, I want to pray and ask the Lord God to bless all my family and friends with His supernatural favour.  I want to ask that each person that reads my blog will enjoy the supernatural favour of God in their own lives and that they will know God is out there for all of them.

This little word that is out there … Lord blesses this word that it may return to You.  Lord thank You for Your supernatural favour in my own life and thank You for this opportunity in spreading Your word.
In the name of Jesus Christ … Amen

Dream

I have many dreams but the one I dream about is going away for about a week to Bora-Bora with my husband. Swimming in the see, laying on the deck in the sun and soaking up some sun rays.  We can dream and who know God is great I will still have that opportunity.

So heres to my dream, Lord I would love to go to the Island of Bora-Bora.
How beautiful!! Wowo

Not everyone is out to get you! ( Note to self!!! )

Good morning, don’t you want to make today one of those days where you clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness and walking in humility, gentleness and being patient with all the people around you.  Let’s take a softer approach when we deal with our own families and friends.  It seems we are harsher with the people closest to us than with strangers we don’t even know.  Why do you think we do that?  We forget that these people closest to us are actually our loved ones.

I want to challenge you today to clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patient.  Let’s put this out there and work on this today.  Let’s remind ourselves that not everybody is out to get us, especially the people closest to us.  So let me know how your day went.

A verse to meditate on while we pursue our goal in being more gentle and kinder:  Colossians 3: 12 ‘As God’s chosen people, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.’

Psss you! Hmmm? Yes you.

These flowers are for you. Don’t you know that you are one of my favourite friend?  Yes, You!  I don’t want others to know this; but you really are great!!  I like your smile and I like your laughter.  It’s so nice to see you sitting behind your desk reading my blog.  Thank you!

Today’s tip:

Galatians 6: 9

‘and let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.’

Subscribe to being kinder and by looking for the good in all your friends and family.

Stay focused and don’t gossip.

Once you get that under control you will be friendlier and more appreciated by your family and friends.

Become that nice guy.

Blessing my Grandchildren

A little girl has come into my life.  As a grandmother I am excited and happy to report to you that the Lord God has blessed our family with a beautiful little girl.  Born 21 October 2012 at 15h00 in Johannesburg.  This little darling has made her appearance and it is my great honour to announce the birth of this little girl.

As a granny of another beautiful littler girl aged 3 I want to speak a beautiful and blessed life into these two little girls’ lives.

My blessing for both of these little girls:  May the road ahead of them be filled with supernatural favour of God above and with man on earth.  May the Lord Jesus Christ be their High Priest and may they both be a blessing to their parents and wherever they go may people around them be blessed because of them.  May the Lord protect them and I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over both their lives.  May they know the Lord and be faithful to Him.  They are a blessing to our family and may the Lord bless them in the future.  May they know what they want to become one day and may they both pursue their dreams.  God bless my Grandchildren!

Praising the Lord

Thank You Lord for today, thank You for the beautiful rain You are showering over Witbank, the plants and trees and streets are all washed clean.  I love to look out of the window and see the green grass looking beautiful.  Everything looks and smells lovely.  The fragrance of the grass lifts out as we walk across it.  I feel the freshness in the air as the flowers smells beautiful.

It seems my life is perfect this very special day, I love You Lord with all of my heart, body and soul.  My life is meaningless without You.  I cannot face the day going forward without consulting with You.

I sit in the darkness of this office typing away my thoughts and waiting for the time to pass and me on my way back home.  The time to spend in the presence of the Living God, the God of Israel, Abraham, Isaac and Joseph with You Lord God I am able to scale a mountain.  I am able to face my problems.

Lord in Your Majesty and Glory I cannot even comprehend, all I am nothing compared to You.  I may be able to type a letter, bake a cake, walk to the shop.  Drive my car, cook a meal but I am nothing Lord.  Just as I am in my humility I want to praise You today.  Thank You for the beautiful flowers You gave me, the wonderful husband You gave me, the beautiful children I have and not forgetting my grandchildren.  Thank You also Lord that my mother is still alive and well, thank You that You keep Your hand of protection over her and her husband.

Thank You Lord for my work, my clothes, my food, my comfort, and my wellbeing, all I have is because You Lord has given it to me.

Thank You Lord for peace of mind, thank you that I am able to come and thank you without ceasing and know that You hear me.  I thank You Lord for my friends and family, old and new.  Thank You that they are all well and that You keep Your hand of protection over all of them.

Praise Your Name Lord, Praise the Lord on High, You Lord are Almighty, You Lord are omnipotent.  Nothing takes place without Your will being done.  Thank You Lord for Your Grace and Your council Your Holy Name Lord, Lord Jesus Christ – Holy Holy Holy is Your Name.

Amen

I love you - Poem

You always listen without interrupting me
you never accuse me when speaking to me
you always give abundantly

In constant prayer I ask for everything you need
when answering me you never argue
you never pretending when sharing with me

You never complaining
you trust me without wavering
you forgive me without punishing me
you promise without forgetting
you love me unconditionally

Faith at work

Just enjoy being around people that have a great sense of humour, there friendly disposition is so catchy.  I seem that these people don’t suffer with any negative thoughts and life seems to be a breeze to them.  Being a pessimist myself it really take a lot of effort to lift my spirit some days.

But in faith I adjust my attitude daily, by faith I stay focused on the Lord God and I believe the joy of the Lord will fill me up as the day progresses.  I believe that my faith in God is my pillar of strength and this takes me to higher and better places.  ‘Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.’

Waking up every morning, the first thing that springs to my mind is ‘Good morning Father God, Lord Jesus and Holy Spirit.’  Then I lie for a moment and consider what time it is.  To my mind I believe I awaken each morning around 4h45.  I really should take the time to check it out and confirm it.  At approximately 5h00 in the morning the birds start to chitter.  When my husband is studying in the mornings he would come and awaken me around 4h30 otherwise I wake up around 4h45.

Taking a shower every morning refreshes me and I am revitalised and ready to take on each day but the days when we don’t have water and electricity.  Man that blows my mind, I feel dirty and I feel that I am horrible.  Looking at myself in the mirror I also think my spirit is rejected and not feeling great either.
Hey stop being so glum and gloomy!  Smile and try and lighten up today, look at things differently.  Don’t take everything seriously and if someone really irritates you ignore them.  Smile back at them so that they aren’t even aware that you are irritated by them.  If they speak to you smile and just agree and if it is a question asked be polite and answer them.

You not only confuse them but you definitely are confusing the devil.

Ephesians 6: 12 ‘For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.’ Just remember we don’t see the spiritual world around us and we cannot imagine what is taking place.  We just see our physical world and many times people seem to be going out of their way to trip us up.  Take a moment and imagine while this person is doing their utmost to upset us the devil is standing behind them screaming in their ears.  ‘Slap him, Slap her, they hate you, you are a disaster.’  The person receiving these negative words aren’t dressed for the battle.  They didn’t get up this morning and said Good morning to the Lord, they didn’t spend time in God’s presence and ask for protection of evil and they didn’t trust in the Lord for the day ahead of them.

Do yourself a favour and tomorrow morning before you leave the house, pray and ask the Lord God to guide you also put on the armour of God to help you face the day.

You can change the world around you by staying positive and being kind and helping others get on the right track.  You don’t always have to hit back and fight all the time.
