'Make peace among the nations.'

Zechariah 9: 10 ‘Your king will make peace among the nations.  I asked the Lord in humble prayer to give me a word for today and this is what I received.  I  want to pray for peace in Israel and also peace in America, Europe and all over Africa and Australia.
Father God, in the name of Your son Jesus Christ I want to pray the words of this scripture, Lord may you make peace among the nations.
In the name of Jesus Christ I pray.

Who are you?

According to Psalm 139: 14 and I quote “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; I know that full well.”
2 Corinthians 3: 18 and I quote “and we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”
Genesis 1: 26 – 27 and I quote ‘The God said, “let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”  So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.’
3 John 2 and I quote ‘Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.’
Mark 11: 23 – 24 and I quote ‘I tell you the truth, if any one says to this mountain, “Go, throw yourself into the sea”, and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.  Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.’
Romans 12: 1 and I quote ‘therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of worship.’
By reading this in scripture I want my life to be a reflection of God’s goodness. From my appearance to my character, I represent God.  That’s why it is my attitude towards life must be in line with His Word. Therefore, I am focusing on changing my way of thinking and speaking so that I can be transformed to God’s likeness.    I confess this today!

Does the Lord Jesus Christ Come first in your life?

I want to take this time and declare and profess that I believe I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.
I take this minute in my life and thank the Lord Jesus Christ for this word today and I want you to think about it.  Lord Jesus Christ come into my life and set me free from worry and all kinds of stress.  Help me to make a difference in the lives of many people around the World today.  I entrust this word to go out not come back empty as You are in control.  I am just a vessel.  Lord Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
As Jesus prayed for the believers John 17 “My prayers is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me (Jesus Christ) through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you.  May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.  I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one:  I in them and you in me.  May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
‘Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.  “Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me.  I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.”

I can’t do it alone

Today I realised once again that I just cannot do anything without my God.  I am just ‘a nobody’ and I cannot do anything without the help of God.  I used to think I was ‘a somebody’ but now I know I am just a nobody.
My humble prayer today is out of Psalm 4 ‘Answer me when I call to you, O my righteous God.  Give me relief from my distress; be merciful to me and hear my prayer.’  I wonder if you ever go through times of despair and cannot make it.  I look at people all around me and I can only see that the ‘seem very happy’ but are they?  No one is honest these days, it seems that everybody is doing so well.  I wonder.
Last night I went to a women business meeting – party.  We all came along in our pyjama’s now that was different.  On entering the hall I looked at all the ladies dressed in their long pyjama’s.  Every one different and unique, this created an atmosphere of camaraderie.  It was easy to sit and chat to the ladies. They are all successful and important business women.  They all are in their own businesses and it sounds that their margins are in the Millions.
Fantastic, I can only pray that the Lord will help me start up something that will go as high as that, but in myself I realise that I am nothing.  ‘A Nobody’ and I do believe that I have ‘somebody’ that will help me one day.  Jesus Christ is my somebody I know He will.
In closing I want to pray Psalm 37 from verse 23 ‘If the LORD delights in a man’s way, he makes his steps firm; though eh stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand.  I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.  They are always generous and lend freely; their children will be blessed.
“Wait for the LORD and keep his way.  He will exalt you to inherit the land; when the wicked are cut off, you will see it.”
Psalm 139 ‘O LORD, you have searched me and you know me.  You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.  You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.  Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O LORD.  You hem me in – behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me.  Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.  Where can I go from your Spirit?  Where can I flee from your presence?  If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. ….Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.  See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.’

Psalm 121

Lord I lift up my eyes to the hills – where does my help come from?  My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.  He will not let my foot slip – he who watches over me will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.  The LORD watches over me – the LORD is my shade at my right hand; the sun will not harm me by day, nor the moon by night.
Great and merciful God, thank You for Your protection and provision in my own life.  I love and adore You.
