God has a rewards system

Firstly I want to say thank You to the Lord God for giving me the opportunity to write on my blog each day.  I don’t really always know what to say but through the Holy Spirit I am able to write a little something hopefully to inspire and help you too.

I have so much to be grateful over and I thank the Lord for being kind, loving and merciful towards me every day.  I have had a chance to relax and sit around in the sun and soak up the sun rays for a couple of months.  I have had the opportunity to start fine arts classes and learn how to paint beautiful oil painting.  Praise - the Lord God for giving me the time to do something different and help me grow.  I praise the Lord for a wonderful husband who seems to have nervous of steel and a heart of gold.  All the time putting up with all my tantrums, this man is wonderful and I love him too bits.

Yes, as far as I believe God has a reward system and when the time is right He rewards us for good work done.  I want to spend as much time with Him to grow spiritually through scripture.  I want to draw near to Him constantly.  1 Corinthians 3: 14 ‘He will receive his reward’ I trust in You Lord.

Insomnia – a little demon on your bed stand

Holy Spirit come and give us peace of mind

I say ‘insomnia’ is a little demon sitting on your bed stand waiting for you to go to bed and when you do it comes and sits on your pillow.  When you fall off to sleep this little demon starts screaming in your ear.  Sometimes it is something that is nagging at you, like let’s say your finances, he will sit and scream in your ear you are going to lose everything you have because you cannot pay all your debts.  He also can be sitting on the pillow next to you screaming into your ear about the way your wife or husband looked at that younger person.  If that doesn’t work he would start with how guilty you are of all kinds of acts.  Keeping in mind it is the little demon following you around because he knows what your problems are.

How can we counter act this little demon?  I say through the word of God.  I say we should call on God in the Name of Jesus Christ and speak life into our situations.  Yes, you husband or wife looked at the younger person and it made you feel old.  Yes agreed you have some financial difficulties but it is only for a short time.  No …. You won’t lose all you have it isn’t possible if you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Counter acting the demon with the Holy Spirit of God, calling on the Name of Jesus Christ.  I say speak life into your situation.  I will find that job best suited for me, yes I am a little short on cash but I am not bankrupt.  Yes we are going through a difficult time but hey I know God has something good in store for us.  Trails are there to grow me and you.  Trails make us stronger through faith and we get to grow more and more.

Lord Jesus help me face my little demons of worry and insomnia, I send them back to where they have come from in the name of Jesus Christ.  Holy Spirit I pray that You will give me peace of mind and the ability to have a good night’s rest.  Helping me to get up fresh and revived in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.

Glory to the Lord God in Jesus Christ's Name

Today in all humility I really want to give thanks to the Lord for being so faithful and loving towards my husband and our family.  I can honestly say that the Lord is awesome.  There are times when I was sure that the Lord had abandoned me.

Anyway just for the record I want to tell you without a doubt that God is Almighty and He is awesome and most of all He will always help you through difficult times.  When it seems as though it is the darkest hour in your life just be patient and know God is working for the good of your situation.

All honour and glory to the Lord God for being there when I needed Him in my life, Lord thank You for being in control of me and my husband’s life.  May the Lord help you too in your live today and may you know that He does answer prayer.

‘… You desire truth in the inward parts …’ Psalm 51: 6

Thank You Lord for being there for us.

Keep Trying

I wonder if you are anything like I am, going through difficult times seems to be part of live and it seems from the outside that people are doing well.  They don’t seem to have any problems, it seems that life is plain sailing.  Looking at my own life I can tell you that it isn’t always plain sailing.
I have not been much around people this past two years so I feel a little isolated. The only people in my life are the children and my husband.  I watch TV, read, knit, paint and I blog.  There are times when it gets to me but most of the time it isn’t that bad.

In this period of my life have been dealing with normal issue of ‘Self’ – hmm that is very difficult.  “Self” as you know is normally haughty, proud, self-centred, very self-important and no compassion for anybody but self.  In the mean time I have had to learn about being compassionate, taking care of people and looking out for their needs.  I have also learned to be more humble and mostly being aware of other people’s needs than my own.

Housekeeping is one of my major tasks and it drives me totally mad.  I do washing and ironing and then it is time to collect the children from school.  Before I know it we need to prepare dinner for the evening.  It is one thing after the other, I drive to collect my husband and in that time I take a book to read.  It is relaxing and I get around to looking at the people in the street, driving up and down, some are deep in thought and others talking on their cell phones, also others sad and gloomy.

Mostly life is fine and my husband takes care of me and the kids.  He is adorable; he always considers all of our needs and is very generous.  He has a beautiful face, soft and gentle hands, I love his hands, well build and he listens to what I say.  Very stubborn at times and can demand action in a blink of an eye.  He keeps to himself and doesn’t appreciate it when told what to do.  He is a fine man with strong morals.

My Dreams

I have been thinking about my own dream for some time now and it is my dream to one day read a book for Audio Books. I love listening to the stories on my iPod and see myself reading a good story for an Author sometime in my future. Then of course I am busy writing a novel and it is taking a little longer than I expected, I seem to run out of good ideas and thoughts. I do admire people that are able to write a story for others to read. My destiny isn’t obvious to me but I am doing the best I can to get to it.
Hmm makes me think ….

School Holidays

I wonder what this holidays will be like.  The kids are home and thank the Lord their Daddy is home too.  Otherwise I would be in an instituted by the end of the holidays, winter at home in the school holidays will be tough I am sure.

I am just glad I don’t have to worry about looking after them too much they are nice and big and look after themselves.

It was really cold this morning, a crisp wind blowing and the air was freezing, or let me say it felt freezing.  It became cloudy and over cast and looks a lot like snow – not we are accustomed to having snow in Witbank.

My second year in this place and my goodness I would love to find a permanent job and go back to work.  I miss the humdrum of the people around me and I don’t feel so old when in other peoples company.  Now I am not complaining but I really miss the people.

The Lord has been good to me, I have been able to do so much in these past could of months, painting, sowing, gardening, reading and my favourite blogging.

Now then its weekend and it is going to be a cold one it seems, so I hope you are warm wherever you are and may the Lord richly bless you.  My word for today was “Isaiah 41:13 For I the Lord your God hold your right hand; I am the Lord, Who says to you, Fear not; I will help you.”

Lord please keep Your right hand over my life today and help me when I fear, I need Your help today and the following couple of weeks.  In the name of Jesus Christ I pray.  Amen
