He will rest [in silent satisfaction] and in His love ...

Zephaniah 3:17Amplified Bible (AMP)
17 The Lord your God is in the midst of you, a Mighty One, a Saviour [Who saves]! He will rejoice over you with joy; He will rest [in silent satisfaction] and in His love He will be silent and make no mention [of past sins, or even recall them]; He will exult over you with singing.

Abba Father, my Lord God thank you for being in the midst of me, a Mighty One, a Saviour!  As I go through my day and think and mediate on this word I want to praise the Lord my God, Jesus Christ for being there for me.  I have the assurance that God is with me and I am grateful for the opportunity in sharing God with You.  I lift my face to the heavens and wait patiently on my LORD, Lord God, Abba Father thank you for Your word today.  As I take this word into my heart, guide me, teach me and sustain me today.  Amen

Psalm 45:11

Living Bible (TLB)
10-11 “I advise you, O daughter, not to fret about your parents in your homeland far away. Your royal husband delights in your beauty. Reverence him, for he is your lord.

Praise God in the passage

My daughter told me to start Praising God in the passage while I wait for Him to open the doors for me.  So here goes, LORD God, Abba Father I want to praise You and I love You Lord Jesus I praise Your Holy Name.  Amen

Psalm 100 Living Bible (TLB)

1 Shout with joy before the Lord, O earth! Obey him gladly; come before him, singing with joy.
Try to realize what this means—the Lord is God! He made us—we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Go through his open gates with great thanksgiving; enter his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and bless his name. For the Lord is always good. He is always loving and kind, and his faithfulness goes on and on to each succeeding generation.

What must I do LORD?

What must I do LORD?

James 1: 6 Living Bible (TLB)
If you want to know what God wants you to do, ask him, and he will gladly tell you, for he is always ready to give a bountiful supply of wisdom to all who ask him; he will not resent it.

I am asking You Lord what must I do?  Please will you give me guidance.

Cultivate Inner Beauty

1 Peter 3: 1 - 6 The Message (MSG)

Cultivate Inner Beauty
1-4 The same goes for you wives: Be good wives to your husbands, responsive to their needs. There are husbands who, indifferent as they are to any words about God, will be captivated by your life of holy beauty. What matters is not your outer appearance—the styling of your hair, the jewellery you wear, the cut of your clothes—but your inner disposition.
4-6 Cultivate inner beauty, the gentle, gracious kind that God delights in. The holy women of old were beautiful before God that way, and were good, loyal wives to their husbands. Sarah, for instance, taking care of Abraham, would address him as “my dear husband.” You’ll be true daughters of Sarah if you do the same, unanxious and unintimidated.

Abba Father humbly I come to You today and pray that You will help me grow to such an extent that my inner beauty may come alive.  Help me to grow my inner qualities and develop them to such an extent that it makes me unique to You.  In the name of Jesus Christ I pray Amen

Stop comparing myself to others!

2 Corinthians 10 Amplified Bible (AMP)

12 Not that we [have the audacity to] venture to class or [even to] compare ourselves with some who exalt and furnish testimonials for themselves! However, when they measure themselves with themselves and compare themselves with one another, they are without understanding and behave unwisely.

My fight with myself is really difficult, I have been working really hard on my attitude, I want to be more accommodating and friendly and loving and kind.  These are normal fruits of the spirit and it seems that I have shaken my tree to such an extent that all the fruits have fallen off.  I am constantly in some kind of battle with my own analysis of who I am, how I should act etc.  To my mind I feel that I have lost value in God’s sight as well as in the sight of friends.  The comparisons are not even real and just but I still keep doing it.  I want to stop having other people determine my worth and I have decided to stop this right now.  I am an original God created me in God’s image.  There is no one like me.

Galatians 5 New Living Translation (NLT)

25 Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. 26 Let us not become conceited, or provoke one another, or be jealous of one another.

I pray Abba Father please help me not compare myself to other people and help me to draw near to You and grow spiritually.  Lord please help me so that I am able to renew my mind and be transformed by Your words.  In Jesus Name Amen
