1 Corinthians 8: 4 "Therefore, as to the eating of food offered to idols, we know that "an idol has no real existence," and that "there is no God but one." Drawing closer to God is one of the highest priorities in my life today. Without God I am nothing. Idols are stone or wooden objects and I know so many people idolize someone too. My thoughts around idols are they cannot help me in my hour of need, I need to have someone I can call on, that someone is God. I want to remind you that God is real and can take you from strength to strength. Praise God for being real and really loving you for who you are. Philippians 1: 9-10 “And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more,   with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ,” I am so grateful that the LORD is with me each and every day, I pray for a closer walk with Him and I am seeking Him each and every day.   I look for Him and seek His supernatural favor in my life so that my knowledge will increase and that I am able to discern and be able to approve what is excellent so that I am able to be pure and blameless for the day of the Lord Jesus Christ. I wake up every morning and the first thing on my mind is the LORD, I say thank You for a new day and I pray for supernatural favor and understanding. Philippians 4: 7  And the peace of God, Which surpasses all understanding, Will guard your hearts and your minds In Christ Jesus. It is true we all deal with stress in our lives each and every day.   In the past I felt that God was stretching me just too much, I used to refer to the stretching as being stretched out like an elastic band.   The pressure and tension in my life would accumulate and I felt tired and constantly on edge. I think of my sister going through the stretching and tension in her own life, my heart goes out to her. She is under tremendous pressure right now.   I know it isn’t my place to tell her what to do but I think she needs to take a little break and start looking after herself. I want to encourage her and you to embrace the peace of God in our lives.   We need to learn how to guard our hearts and minds and come into the covering of the Lord Jesus Christ.   I see God working in each of our lives. ...

Hebrews 13: 3 ESV “Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body.” The other day I was on Facebook and someone shared a video clip of an elderly lady (84 years) being abused by her nurse.   I was infuriated and really angry to see this, but it struck me that the nurse was unaware that she was being filmed.   Just that gave me the satisfaction that she would come to book for her actions. You know my heart is for the elderly and I feel so terribly sorry for them.   The thing is they have worked their whole lives and end up in a tiny one bedroom space.   Their families either put them there or they do not really have any family to take care of them. You do not know what your future holds for you and you may end up living in a tiny little one bedroom space where a nurse comes and stands on your frail body or beats you because they can.   People we need to think...
