Sow Your Seed on Fertile Ground.

I have read in many parts of Israel there is a layer of limestone which lay an inch or so beneath the surface of the ground. This layer traps the moisture, and for a brief period of time, a plant growing there may appear to flourish. But as soon a dry spell comes the moisture quickly dissipates. Because of the limestone, the plants cannot sink its roots and soon withers and dies.

Mark 4: 3 – 9 AMP
“Listen! A sower went out to sow the seed; and as he was sowing, some seed fell by the road, and the birds came and ate it up. Other seed fell on rocks where there was not much soil, and immediately a plant sprang up because the soil had no depth. And when the sun came up, the plant was scorched; and because it had no root, it dried up and withered away.  Other seed fell among thorns, and the thorns came up and choked it, and it yielded no grain. And other seed fell into good soil, and as the plants grew and increased, they yielded a crop and produced thirty, sixty, and a hundred times [as much as had been sown]. And He said, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear and heed My words.”

Reading the Book of Mark brings me to a very important point today, sowing. It took me a very long time to completely trust God with my finances. The funny thing is I don't have a permanent job and I don't have the security most people have when employed permanently. I decided to give my tithes and also help other people.

I feel that I still need to give to God's people, Israel the Jewish people. It is my dream to travel to Israel one day perhaps God will open a door for me. God spoke to Abraham and said: "I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you, and in you, all the families of the earth shall be blessed." Genesis 12 verse 3.

The law of sowing comes from God's word and I want to be obedient and honour my God. I believe that I need to also be patient "Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the LORD. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rains." James 5 verse 7.
Prayer
Abba Father I thank You Lord for today, thank You for the outpouring of the Spirit. Lord, I pray that Your Spirit will touch the lives of every person who reads this blog today. I pray that we all will give to the Jewish people and that we will help them. I pray Lord for peace in Israel and I ask that Your Spirit will touch the lives of each person today. Blessing in abundance and I pray that You will keep each one safe. Lord, I plead the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth over each person today. Amen

My faith must lead the way.

John 14: 12 – 14 AMP
“I assure you and most solemnly say to you, anyone who believes in Me [as Savior] will also do the things that I do, and he will do even greater things than these [in extent and outreach] because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in My name [as My representative], this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified and celebrated in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name [as My representative], I will do it.”

I found myself stuck at the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, not moving forward. I cannot explain what made me stay there but that’s exactly where I found myself. I want to take a bold step today and move forward. It is my prayer that the Holy Spirit will activate me. I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, He is my Savior.  Today I pray asking in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Abba Father, please accept my humble apologies for not believing fully in You.

In humble prayer Holy Spirit I come before You this morning, please come into my life. I want to be activated and do the same works as the Lord Jesus Christ. I cannot do anything out of my own. I am nobody and have no authority but with You living within me I am able to do more than what I can think of. Humbly Holy Spirit I pray forgive me if I have sinned against You knowingly or unknowingly.

Prayer

Abba Father, please send the Holy Spirit to activate my life today. I want to be in the right place at the right time. You have shown me this today and I pray to remove the scales from my eyes and open my ears to hear. In the Holy Name of Your Son Jesus Christ of Nazareth I ask. Please Lord active me today. Amen

LORD enlightens my eyes.

Psalm 19: 8 ESV

“the precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes;”

I am sure you are the same as I am constantly seeking the LORD. I know from my side I want to know more and more each day. My life is focused on the LORD. My relationship with the LORD could be better and I am seeking Him each and every day. Sometimes I fail Him and it makes me want to cry.

Today I am asking You LORD God in the Name of Your Son Jesus of Nazareth to please help me with the precepts of YOU and help me with Your commandment which is pure and please enlighten my eyes. It is my heart's desire to draw near to You each and every day. I love and worship You, Lord.

Prayer

LORD, please show me the way forward. I am seeking You and me am drawing closer to You each and every day. Please help me build a true and pure relationship with You. I need Your help going forward. In the Holy Name of Jesus Christ, I pray Amen.

God choose me!

Genesis 12: 2 AMP

“And I will make you a great nation, and I will bless you [abundantly], and make your name great (exalted, distinguished); and you shall be a blessing [a source of great good to others];”

I believe God is busy equipping me and you each and every day. I think people that are in a relationship is constantly working at their difference. Remember I am a woman and apparently I have many flaws. You know the thing that struck me about this passage is where God is blessing Abram and telling Abram that He was making him a great nation. God will bless Abram abundantly and make his name great so that he would be a blessing to others.

I am standing on this word for my own life, I believe I already live with a great nation and I believe God will bless me abundantly and me my name great. I am a blessing to many people in my life. I want to encourage you today to start looking for the reasons God choose you. I know God choose me before I choose Him.

Prayer

Lord, Almighty God, humbly I want to say thank You for this word today, I believe You will bless me abundantly. Help me be a blessing to other people as well. I need Your supernatural guidance and wisdom in my life today. Lord, I pray for supernatural favour in my life and the lives of all my family and friends. Praise Your Holy Name, Abba Father, You are good and wonderful and Your mercies are new every day. I worship and thank You for today and bring You all the glory and honour. In Jesus Name Amen

Trying to identify my assignment from God.

Ephesians 2: 10 ESV “for we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”

I suppose not everyone thinks the same way I do, my worry is that I am going to stand before God Almighty and He is going to ask me what I did with my life. I am worried that I didn’t work hard enough. I feel worried that I didn’t do enough for other people in need. I am worried that I may have missed my true assignment through not listening to the Lord. I may have been disobedient and didn’t listen. He may have given me 100 of chances to fix things and I may have become too stubborn and didn’t take heart. Are you with me? Do you see what I am talking about?

The thing that worries me is that my body is going to be a carnival of worms, these cavities my eyes glistering in are going to be crawling with horrible worms.  I think my body would probably stick after a couple of days in the grave. Do you know how allergic I am when it comes to smells? If something smells off I am worried that it might be me. I run off and look for something that will refresh me.  Vanity, oh my goodness!

What to do? I am doing the best I can and to be honest I wish I could do more. I don’t have the means to help everybody but I am doing the best I can. I feel the time is running out and I might not make it. I feel the harder I try the less accepted it is. Only the Grace of God is able to help me, I believe my faith is carrying me through these difficult times.

I believe we all have different assignments from God and we are called for specific missions in our lives. Let’s not miss out on our assignments and work hard and do our best while we still can. You are a blessing and I appreciate you very much.

Prayer

Abba Father, I am humbly asking You to reveal my assignment and show me the way forward. O Lord I don’t want to be a disappointment and be ashamed because I didn’t get to do my assignment. I live my life the best I can and I feel so inadequate most of the time. I want to be a pleasing aroma to You. I don’t want to disappoint You. Please Lord, show me the path I am supposed to be on and help me get there. Bless each person reading my blog today in the Holy Name of Your Son Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen

Deception – is it luring you?

Acts 5: 8 ESV
“And Peter said to her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for so much.” And she said, “Yes, for so much.”

Ananias and Sapphira were both lured by fame and recognition.   Believing Peter can be deceived by their story. Ananias didn't see what was coming his way nor did Sapphira.

Peter asked Ananias why he felt completed to lie to the Holy Spirit. I am sure Ananias had a good reason for his lie. I believe the Holy Spirit knows what we think and keep in our hearts.

Both Ananias and Sapphira dropped dead after telling a lie to Peter. God isn't up for our silly games.
They both died on the spot. The people in the congregation heard what happened and they were fearful.

I think we all are lured by fame and recognition. I want people to know how good I am. The deeds I have done need to be reported and broadcast over the world.

Prayer

Lord, please help us to wait patiently for You. You are a rewarder of good deeds. Help us to focus on You and not our carnal flesh. We bind the lure of recognition and fame in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen

Can you keep a secret?

Proverbs 11: 13 AMP
“He who goes about as a gossip reveals secrets, but he who is trustworthy and faithful keeps a matter hidden.”

As I walked into the office everybody stopped talking and acted like they were busy with something. The one person I trusted went and started a fire. Dropping a quick word here and there as I looked at the people in the office I saw her standing behind one of the cabinets. Our eyes met and her face turned red. Hmm, she was spreading the news.

I walked into my office and greeted everyone on my way to my desks, guys nodding their head and woman pretending not to see me. I felt the heat rise up in my neck into my face. I felt flushed and embarrassed at the same time. The one person I trusted turned on me. Can you ever.

My boss walked over to my desk as I sat in my chair. “So I believe you have officially joined the divorcées club.” He smiled and placed a file on my desk. “Seriously!” I was furious right there and then. “Can no one keep a secret this day?” I looked up and my so-called friend walks toward my desk. “Hi, so glad you could make it today, I was under the impression you are going to take a day leave.” Her hands clutched in front of her as she played with her wedding ring.

Prayer
Abba Father, sometimes people are irresponsible and careless, they speak and say things they don’t even worry about. It just flows out of their mouths. I believe that You Lord will treat us exactly the same way we treat other people. Lord, if I lack compassion please forgive me and help me to be more compassionate towards other people in my life. If I have sinned against You knowingly or unknowingly, please forgive me. I also forgive those who have treated me with contempt and have gossiped about me. I set them free and I forgive them in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen

Love Your Church

Ephesians 5: 25 AMP
“Husbands, love your wives [seek the highest good for her and surround her with a caring, unselfish love], just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her,”

Apparently, this does happen in the Church communities. I remember arriving at my Pastors house for our weekly Mentorship classes. I walked into the lounge and greeted all my friends.

Sitting down our Pastor said he had to tell us something. He took out a file and started paging through all the correspondence, reading the hot emails. I was shocked and thought what is happening here. I felt appalled when I heard all the accusations. It amazed me that people thought they had the right to write things down. It was apparent the church was going to split.

I remember coming home in tears telling my husband I don't belong anywhere. All the places I go to end up being the wrong place for me. My husband said to me "don't you give up on your church."
I believe after the split in our church many a mature believer feels disillusioned and I wonder how our new believers are dealing with the havoc of this split. I know it must have affected our pastors and their families, and this brings reproach upon the name of Jesus Christ. I do believe there is hope. Our church will experience healing and restoration going forward.

Going forward I believe our church split will heal and we need to repent and come before the Lord in humility.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, humbly I pray forgive me and our congregation if we have sinned against You knowingly or unknowingly. We pray for our Pastors and dedicate them into Your hands today, Lord lift them up.  Lord give them the necessary strength to face each day. Guide them and help them.  Thank You Lord for our Pastors and thank You for Your loving kindness.  In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth.  Amen

Show a little compassion!

Matthew 9: 36 ESV
“When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.”

Why would the Lord Jesus feel compassion for the people He saw before Him? I see that they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. I wonder if you ever think of the day when you grow old. I wonder if you think you are invincible and you are going to be able to maintain your lifestyle.

What you don’t realize if you aren’t able to show a little compassion today, no one is going to show you a little compassion tomorrow. God isn’t going to let you get away with it. The seed you put into the ground today will come up tomorrow.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I want to pray and ask You to please forgive us because we lack in showing compassion towards other people. I have sinned against You today and I humbly pray for forgiveness, please create in me a clean heart and a pure spirit. I also want to pray for the elderly who have no one to look out for them. They are discarded like they don’t exist. Lord, I pray that You will send Your angels to protect each one of them, mom and oom Frik too. Lord keep Your hand over them. Let no harm come to them. Bless them today, with supernatural favour with You Lord as well as with people. In the Holy Name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen

Come and Praise the LORD God with me!

Psalm 7: 17
“I will thank the LORD for his justice; I will sing praises to the sovereign Lord!”

In humility, I want to bring You praises today. I give the LORD my God all the thanks due to His righteousness and I will sing praises to the name of the LORD, the Most High.

O LORD, my Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth! You have set Your glory above the heavens. Out of the mouth of babies and infants, You have established strength because of your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger.

the LORD is in His Holy Temple; the LORD's throne is in heaven; His eyes see, His eyelids test the children of man.

The heavens declare the glory of God and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.

LORD, yet You are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel. To You, O LORD, I lift up my soul. O my God, in You I trust to let me not be put to shame let not my enemies exult over me. LORD God I will trust in You. You are my stronghold, my shield and my shelter. I love You, Lord.

Prayer

Lord as it is written in Psalm 25 “Indeed, none who wait for you shall be put to shame; they shall be ashamed who are wantonly treacherous. Make me know your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me for You are the God of my salvation; for You, I wait all the day long. Remember your mercy, O LORD, and Your steadfast love, for they have been from of old.” In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I pray, Amen
