Thank You Lord for all my blessings

Romans 15: 13

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace

 as you trust in Him,

so that you may overflow

with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

I want to take this opportunity in saying Thank You Lord Jesus for all the blessing in my life. Thank You Lord for blessing me with a good and faithful husband.  Thank You Lord for the food on my table, and the washing in the washing basket.  Thank You for a warm bed to sleep in and the knowledge that You are watching over me.

Thank You for my children and grandchildren and thank You that You keep an eye over them too. Thank You for my friends and my family.  Thank You also for my mom and step dad.  Thank You for the time I have available to come and say thank You.

Thank You Lord for blessing me with shoes on my feet, a beautiful dress and a lovely jersey.  Thank You Lord for the beautiful jewellery and thank You Lord for the wonderful perfume I have received as gifts.  Thank You for Your Loving kindness towards me.  Thank You for the peace in my heart because I can come to You my hope overflow in You Lord.  I thank You for the Holy Spirit who lives inside of me.

Lord thank You for letting me see another day.  Thank You for every  waking morning and thank You for blessing me each and every day.  I see that You are changing things in my life, I believe You are in control and that You have a future for me to prosper me and not to harm me.

Prayer

Abba Father, thank You for blessing me each and every day.  Thank You for hearing me this morning, in complete and utter humbleness I pray for guidance and I thank YOU Lord for the wisdom You give me. Thank You Lord for watching over me, thank You Lord for blessing me at work, in my job, at home with my family, and blessing my children’s families, and my mom’s family and brother and sisters families.  I love You Lord with the all my heart, soul and mind in the beautiful name of my savior Jesus Christ of Nazareth.  Amen

Do you complain about frivolous things?

Hebrews 13: 3 ESV

“Remember those who are in prison,

as though in prison with them,

and those who are mistreated,

since you also are in the body.”

The other day I was on Facebook and someone shared a video clip of an elderly lady (84 years) being abused by her nurse.  I was infuriated and really angry to see this, but it struck me that the nurse was unaware that she was being filmed.  Just that gave me the satisfaction that she would come to book for her actions.

You know my heart is for the elderly and I feel so terribly sorry for them.  The thing is they have worked their whole lives and end up in a tiny one bedroom space.  Their families either put them there or they do not really have any family to take care of them.

You do not know what your future holds for you and you may end up living in a tiny little one bedroom space where a nurse comes and stands on your frail body or beats you because they can.  People we need to think about our elderly people and story worrying ourselves above frivolous things such as my new duvet cover, new curtains a new car or whatever you desire.

It struck me that I am aging and I cannot get away from my aging process.  Yes I purchase cosmetics to make me look younger but let us be honest we are growing old. Please think about your old mom or dad that you placed in an old age home, remember them they need you.

Prayer

Lord God, Abba Father, You know the old lady and old gentle man that are enduring constant bullying and abuse.  Please LORD I pray for them today, they are being mistreated and abused by their caretakers. LORD I pray that YOU will hear their cries and act on this. I pray for each elder person who is suffering at the hands of someone in a senior position. I pray LORD that Your Holy Spirit will touch their lives, bring them to repentance and may they serve You LORD.  I call out to YOU today in the Name of the LORD Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Amen.

An unexpected visit …

Nehemiah 8: 10

“The joy of the LORD is your strength.”

Do you believe God has only good thoughts towards you?  I must tell you that I have come to believe that God only has good thoughts towards me. I love the LORD and I believe that the LORD is my strength.  

I have been truly dealing with a lot of situations in my own life but I must tell you God knows my heart’s desire.  My children don’t stay close to my house and I rarely see them.  We make appointment to visit and when I can I go and see them.  These past couple of weeks have been hectic both out cars broke down and we only have a truck to drive around in leaving me without transport.

Last week was my birthday and my children phoned me saying happy birthday mom hope you have an awesome year.  Then to my surprise on Saturday morning they came to celebrate my birthday with me.  It was so awesome that I almost cried, and to top it off they knew that I wanted some perfume for my birthday and came bearing gifts.

The visit was excellent and I really love seeing them again.  I realized that God’s hand was over my life. 

Prayer

Lord thank You for the joy You bring into my life, and that You strengthen me each and every day. You are my rock and I stand firm on You. Lord thank You so much for my children and the unexpected visit this weekend.  I love them so much and I dedicate them into Your hands, I pray that they will be covered by the blood of Jesus Christ.  Amen

Are you comparing yourself to others?

Hebrews 13: 6

“The LORD is my helper; I will not be afraid.”

What are you an expert at? What do you love doing? I love arts and crafts.  I enjoy reading and writing and I love being around me family and friends. I enjoy typing and I love writing short daily devotions.  I love researching topic for my Radio program and looking for inspirational topic to discuss on the radio.

I realized that I was very concerned that I would never really be good enough because there was someone better than me. My fear of not being good enough drives me to do everything I can. I am no expert but I push towards becoming good at it.

I realized that I need to make a list of all my God-given strengths and work at it. I have come to a point in my life where I realized that I was born for a purpose and that I need to spend time in God’s word to discover my purpose in life.

It struck me that I am worried that I will not be accepted by my peers.  The past couple of weeks I have been working on specific things in my life.  I don’t like to admit it but I had to learn to accept life and the things in my own life.  I am still learning to accept each and every day, you need to understand it is a process on my side. 

God also reminds me that I am to trust in Him.  He is my LORD and my helper and I will not be afraid.  My hearts desires are being met each and every day, God is making things happen in my own life.

Prayer

LORD thank You for being my helper and reminding me that I do not have to fear.  You have the blue print to my life in Your hands. You words states that You called me by my name and I belong to You. You also remind me that I am the apple of Your eye. You also know where I am right now and have a future planned for me.  I am so grateful for my children and the fact that they came to visit me on the weekend.  Bless my family and all my children in the name of Jesus Christ my savior.  Amen
