Good gifts.

December 2
Good gifts. Luke 11: 13 (NIV) 13 "If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him." It's my hearts desire, that you may receive the Holy Spirit when you seek Him with all your heart. In receiving the Holy Spirit into your own life, you now have the opportunity of magnifying the Lord. In what way, by making the Lord Jesus manifested in our lives. How? We must become obedient, and we must stay loyal to the Lord Jesus. In Psalm 34 verse 3, we reminded to magnify the Lord and exalt His name together. You will receive good gifts from the Lord when you ask Him. As you focused on these words today, may the Holy Spirit touch your heart and soul. With praises and worship we are able to draw near to the Lord. One of the gifts I would love to have is a gift of prophetic messages. So that I may encourage other people on my way. In 1 Corinthians 14 verses 3, Paul says there are three things a prophetic word must have: "But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation, and comfort to men." Once you hear a prophetic the best way to discern that it is a good word. It should have the following: did it edify, encourage, or comforted you today. Holy Spirit it is my hearts desire to receive the good gifts from the LORD. I know it cannot be done without You Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit I know You want to work through me, here I am please use me to be someone who encourages and blesses. Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy. 1` Corinthians 14: 1 Prayer O Lord, as we come to You today, we pray to ask that You will give us the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit, thank You for using us to bring words of encouragement and comfort to others through prophecy. Thank You that all children of God can speak or receive a prophetic word. Speak through me today. In Jesus' name, Amen

2nd Wedding Anniversary!

Hey, hey it is my 2 nd anniversary!   This has been an interesting time in my life and I must be honest I am starting to see the changes in my own life.    Firstly remember I am a city girl with this bad ass attitude, my way or the highway.   Ah, now let me tell you that doesn’t work like this.   My husband has a firm hand over me and keeps me in toe.   I am still my own person and have many new interests.    How was my day today?   Well the normal, got out of bed at 04h30 and then left the house by 06h00 arriving at work at 07h00.   Then to top it off in an early morning meeting at 07h30 to 08h30, then back in the office.   I worked on three projects; getting information from people isn’t that easy.   I firstly completed my own scope of work, followed up with the suppliers and then going back to the next person.   As I work according to my time keeping schedule I then finally got to lunch time.   I...

~ Reach Out if You Wish to Succeed ~ Galatians 5:13 – “By love, serve one another.”

Gentle reader, Permit me to offer this quiet truth: success does not arrive on satin cushions, announced by trumpets or tapping politely at your parlour door. No — it is more elusive, more noble in its pursuit. It often hides itself behind connections yet to be made, and relationships yet to be pursued. To flourish in this life, one must be bound — not by title or fortune — but by divine connection. For those who are destined to elevate you may not arrive unbidden. More often, it is you who must summon the courage to seek them out. Let us consider the evidence: Why is the newspaper sold on every corner, and the soda machine placed on every floor? Because success is positioned where the people are. Even our beloved Lord, Jesus — did He sit upon a high throne in a palace, declaring, “Only here may you find Me?” Certainly not. He moved among the people — to the market stalls, along the dusty shores where fishermen cast their nets, into the synagogues and modest homes. “He went through...
