Whatever things you ask for in prayer.

https://kellan-publishing.selz.com/item/daily-devotional-ebenezer

Mark 11:22-24 (AMP)
22 Jesus replied “Have faith in God [constantly]. 23 I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea!’ and [a]does not doubt in his heart [in God’s unlimited power], but believes that what he says is going to take place, it will be done for him [in accordance with God’s will]. 24 For this reason I am telling you, whatever things you ask for in prayer [in accordance with God’s will], believe [with confident trust] that you have received them, and they will be given to you.
Matthew 21:22 (AMP)
22 And whatever you ask for in prayer, believing, you will receive.”
Philippians 2:15-16 (AMP)
15 so that you may prove yourselves to be blameless and guileless, innocent and uncontaminated, children of God without blemish in the midst of a [morally] crooked and [spiritually] perverted generation, among whom you are seen as bright lights [beacons shining out clearly] in the world [of darkness], 16 holding out and offering to everyone the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I will have reason to rejoice greatly because I did not run [my race] in vain nor labour without result.

Today Lord in faith I come before You and I say thank You, Lord, Jesus for my job. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for supernatural favour with You and with people. Because I am a child of the Most High God I have been blessed with Your supernatural favour. I am humbled in thinking that You loved me even before I loved You. I am humbled in knowing You care about me every day even when I am not faithful to You. Lord because of Your awesomeness, Your faithfulness, Your grace which is new every day, I am blessed. I am loved by You and people. I confess today that whatever I say and believe You will give it to me. I thank You Lord for open doors of great opportunities. I thank You, Lord for blessing my life as it is and I know You have more in store for me.
Today I confess and believe that You, Lord, will give me the job I need so that I can provide for the people I love. I confess and believe that Your Word is the guidance in my own life. Lord, Jesus You are my beginning and my end.
Today I confess that only You, can change my life, only You can open doors and close doors for me. I pray for a steadfast love of You in my life. In the Holy Name of Jesus Christ my Lord, amen

Scripture for Thursday

The Firstborn are Mine!

Numbers 3: 11 - 13 Amplified Bible

Again the LORD spoke to Moses, saying "Behold, I have taken the Levites from among the sons of Israel instead of and as a substitute for every firstborn, that is, the first that opens the womb among the Israelites. so the Levites shall be Mine, for all the firstborn are Mine. On the day that I killed all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, I consecrated for Myself all the firstborn in Israel, both man and animal. They shall be mine: I am the LORD."

Scripture for Wednesday

They hid from the Face of God

Genesis 3: 8-9

And they heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden
in the cool [afternoon breeze] of the day, so the man and his wife hid
and kept themselves hidden from the presence of the LORD God
among the trees of the garden. But the LORD God called to Adam,
and said to him, "where are you?"

Psalm 130 is my prayer today LORD, God.

The past couple of days LORD, I have been crying out to You. O, LORD! Hear my voice today. Please hear my cries for mercy. O, LORD, I need help.
LORD if you should mark all my iniquities, who am I to stand before YOU?
I know with YOU there is forgiveness so that You may be feared.
I am waiting for YOU, LORD, my soul waits, and in Your Word, I hope; my soul waits for the LORD more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning.
O Israel, hope in the LORD! For with the LORD, there is steadfast love, and with YOU LORD is plentiful redemption. And YOU will redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
Amen

Scripture for Tuesday

Zephaniah 2: 3 AMP

Seek the LORD [search diligently for Him and
regard Him as the foremost necessity of your life],
All you humble of the land
Who have practiced His ordinances and
have kept His commandments;
Seek righteousness, seek humility
[reegard them as vital].
Perhaps you will be hidden [and pardoned and rescued]
In the day of the LORD's anger.

Scripture for Wednesday

Wait for the God of Salvation

Micah 7: 7 ESV

"But as for me,
I will look to the LORD;
I will wait for the God of my Salvation;
my god will hear me."

Do I just make things up or am I hearing from God?

Isaiah 40: 31 ESV

“but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength: they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”

As a young person, I used to believe "its one thing after another." We were struggling financially. Now I realise that "life isn't one thing after another." I think when you are young, you are impatient. I want this right now I don't want to save up for that specific thing. When reading Isaiah 40 verse 31 "but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."

It is clear that I never want to wait. The waiting part is just too long. Why wait when I can buy something on credit?

I believe I lacked Godly wisdom. I didn't truly trust the LORD wholeheartedly.
In perspective, those were difficult days because of my impatience. I did not consider, the bigger picture and I didn't check my budget.

I still struggle with being impatient. I draw my strength from the LORD. The process is learning to wait on the LORD and in waiting; I believe I can see the bigger picture.

Prayer

LORD, today I want to pray for the strength to wait for the best time to act. LORD, You know I am learning each day, help me to stay focused on You. LORD, I want to grow to maturity in Jesus Christ. Please LORD in Jesus Christ's name, Amen
