"May the best day of your past Be the worst day of your future." My Dad always wished me this Irish Blessing and I want it to matter today and every other day in my life.

A Prayer of Dedication and Trust in the LORD
Good morning, Father God.
LORD God, I want to honor You with every thought, idea, intention, and action. Today, I give You permission to transform me. Let my entire life be a testament to Your glory and honor. You are holy and worthy of all my praise and adoration. My life is Yours.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (ESV) says, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” Today, I dedicate and pray specifically for my family and friends, bringing each person before You in humble prayer: Jacques, Didi, Gizel, Cuba, Devan, Johan, Odette, Anabelle, Briana, Jean, Jacklyn, Andus, me, Alezandra, Pieter, Andus Jr., Mom, Oom Frik, Elsa, Llewelyn, Zelda, Sean, Patrick, Duane, Nikita, Matthew, Elijah, Paul, Carla, Jadyn, Adam, Jocelyn, Arthur, Dante, Benjamin, Violette, Alison, Elma, Peet, Elmarie, Ben, their children, Douw, Zayeen, Megan, Josh, Hannelie, Alan, Rina, Karina, Petro, Wilma, Koos, Saddika, Kevin, Moosa, Aneesa, Lorraine, Kiewiet, Deon, and Veronica.
I specifically ask that You keep Your hand over each person I have mentioned this morning. Where doors are closed, I pray that You will open the right ones at the right time. As we navigate our lives today, make straight our paths and help each of us to acknowledge You as our LORD and Savior.
Philippians 2:1-3 (ESV) says, “So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.” LORD, I humbly pray that You will renew my mind. I am encouraged by You, Lord Jesus. Today, I pray that You complete our joy and help us not to be selfish, but to consider our family and friends.
This morning, I stand in humble prayer and dedicate my family and friends into Your hands. You are Jehovah Jireh – the LORD who provides. You know each one of us. I bring each of us before You today. Where there is lack, I stand in the gap and pray for Your provision. Where there is sickness and worry, please bring healing. Many times, we feel uncertain about how we will pay our bills each month. Please let none of us feel terrified. We put our faith and trust in You. Thank You, LORD, for hearing my concerns.
Matthew 7:11 (ESV) says, “If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!” LORD, I ask that You help each one of us and bless each person I named, in Jesus' name, according to Your Word. Philippians 4:19 (ESV) says, “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” I speak this word over every name I called out before You today.
As I sit here speaking to You, LORD, it has been a tough year, and much is going on in each of our lives. I ask that You have mercy on each one of us today, for Your mercy is new every morning. I pray for supernatural favor from You and from people. Bless each person and keep us safe. Let Your will be done in our lives. You know my concerns and worries. Please take them to heart, but most of all, help me be the person You created me to be. Create in me a clean heart and a pure spirit. Give me the strength I need to continue.
LORD, I bring my work into Your presence and ask for Your help in securing the necessary sponsorships, exhibitions, and delegate tickets. Open the doors wider that I have already begun to open, not to make me look great, but to help me assist my boss. I ask this in Jesus Christ’s name.
Amen.

A Morning Prayer of Gratitude and Protection
Good morning, Father God,
Lord, I thank You for this new day and for the opportunity to travel to Joburg. I praise Your Holy Name and give You all the glory and honor. You are my King and my Lord, and I worship You. Today, I come before You, asking for Your protection over us.
Thank You, Lord, for Your loving kindness and for watching over me and my family. I am grateful for Your goodness and mercy towards each one of us.
Lord, I love You, I need You, and I worship You. Today, I dedicate my family and friends to You, and I speak the Name of Jesus Christ over each of them. I declare Your Word from Numbers 6:24-26 over every person: "The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace."
I lift up Jacques, Didi, Gizel, Cuba, Devan, Johan, Odette, Anabelle, Briana, Jean, Jacklyn, Andus, me, Alezandra, Pieter, Andus Jnr., Mom, Oom Frik, Elsa, Llewelyn, Zelda, Sean, Patrick, Duane, Nikita, Matthew, Elijah, Paul, Carla, Jadyn, Adam, Jocelyn, Arthur, Dante, Benjamin, Violette, Alison, Elma, Peet, Elmarie, Ben, kids, Douw, Zayeen, Megan, Josh, Hannelie, Alan, Rina, Karina, Petro, Wilma, Koos, Saddika, Kevin, Moosa, Aneesa, Lorraine, Kiewiet, Deon, and Veronica.
Today, I declare that we remain focused and continue in the things we have learned. I pray for supernatural favor over each name on my list. Lord, I ask for Your favor with You and with people. Keep us safe and protect us from harm.
When we pass through the waters, You will be with us; through the rivers, they will not overwhelm us; when we walk through fire, we shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume us (Isaiah 43:2).
Lord, I confess my sins and ask for Your forgiveness for known and unknown sins. I repent and pray for Your hand to rest on me today. I want to draw near to You and pray for the lives of each family member and friend. Keep us safe and protect us. I dedicate each of us into Your hands today. Let Your will be done in our lives.
Thank You, Lord, for providing for us and for keeping us. Thank You for the good things You give us each day, for opening doors that are otherwise closed, and for allowing us to call on You daily.
Thank You for blessing the work of our hands, for blessing our efforts, and for making our paths smooth. Lord, let Your Holy Spirit surround us and keep us safe. I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over each person. I bring each person to You, believing that You are our God and King, and You have called each of us by name.
I love You, Lord.
In Jesus Christ’s name, I pray. Amen.

Prayer for today
Good morning, Abba Father.
Lord, thank You for today. Your mercies are new every morning, and I give You all the praise and glory. You are the Alpha and the Omega, my LORD, the King of kings, and the LORD of lords, my GOD. I praise You, LORD, El Emunah, the Faithful GOD.

LORD, today I need to call 20 people. I pray humbly for Your assistance. Please send an angel to smooth the way for me. I need these people to attend the Expo. I seek not accolades, but financial provision so I can bless others. If there is any selfishness in me, please forgive me. Keep me open to Your Holy Spirit's guidance.
HOLY SPIRIT, You are welcome in my life today. Lead and guide me. Help me to do my best.
LORD, I surrender my will, my life, and all I do into Your hands. I am nothing without You. Please help us. I know I am at fault; forgive me. Only You can change our situation and know what is needed to correct it.
Today, I ask for Your supernatural favor over those I lift up in prayer: Andus, myself, Alezandra, Pieter, Andus Jnr., Jacques, Didi, Gizel, Cuba, Devan, Johan, Odette, Anabelle, Briana, Jean, Jacklyn, Mom, Oom Frik, Elsa, Llewelyn, Zelda, Sean, Patrick, Duane, Nikita, Matthew, Elijah, Paul, Carla, Jadyn, Adam, Jocelyn, Aurther, Dante, Benjamin, Violette, Alison, Elma, Peet, Elmarie, Ben, Kid, Douw, Zayeen, Megan, Josh, Hannelie, Alan, Rina, Karina, Petro, Wilma, Koos, Saddika, Kevin, Moosa, Aneesa, Lorraine, Kiewiet, Deon, and Veronica.
LORD, may we be covered by the blood of Jesus Christ. Help each of us today. Grant us supernatural favor with You and with those we encounter. Keep us safe from harm. Grant us wisdom, insight, and understanding for today. I am asking for Your help, LORD. I fear the day and do not know if I can face it alone. I need You, El Emunah, for I cannot do this on my own.
Blessing and honor are due to Your name. I worship You and give You all the glory. I am in great need, especially to help my mom. Please help me. Keep Your hand over my life. I need You, LORD.
Thank You, LORD, for Your loving-kindness, faithfulness, and care for me, my family, and my friends. I am grateful and I love You, Lord.
In Jesus Christ Name I pray amen

Where do you think God will source the resources to meet your needs?
“Giving thanks unto the Father...who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son.” - Colossians 1:12-13
If you find yourself struggling financially despite the Bible’s promises of prosperity and all the prayers you’ve offered, consider this: Where do you think God will source the resources to meet your needs?
Many believers unknowingly limit God by focusing on the finite resources of this world rather than the infinite riches of God’s kingdom. Their faith wavers when they think of the unstable earthly economy, the shortages, and the scarcity around them. They ask, "How can God bless me amid all this?"
If you’ve had these thoughts, here’s a perspective that can change everything!
The Bible tells us God has “delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son.” To be translated means to be moved from one place to another. Essentially, your primary citizenship is not of this earth. You are not first and foremost an American, Canadian, or Australian―you are primarily a citizen of God’s kingdom.
This means the conditions of this world do not dictate whether your needs are met. The Bible assures us that God will meet your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19)! You can rely on heaven’s economy, not earth’s economy―and in heaven, there is always more than enough.
Embrace the abundance of heaven that has been granted to you through Jesus. Recognize that you’ve been moved from a world of lack into a kingdom of abundance. Rejoice, for the limitless resources of heaven are available to you!
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for providing for me each day according to Your riches in glory. I don't fully understand the economy, and my finances often fall short. Yet, I am grateful that You have not forgotten me and continue to provide. If I have sinned against You knowingly or unknowingly, please forgive me, Lord. I forgive the person I have been speaking to You about and release them in Jesus Christ’s name, asking that You also set me free.
Although I don’t always understand how things work, You have been so faithful to me that I can't imagine how my life would be without Your mercy and guidance. Great is Your mercy and wonderful is Your name. All glory and honor belong to You, Lord, my God. Thank You for forgiving my sins and for hearing me when I call out to You. I am deeply grateful that You are still my God. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Looking up to God, I need YOU LORD Jesus
Lately, I've been struggling with a heavy feeling in my heart. It's like my own thoughts keep attacking me, accusing me of doing wrong things. I know as a Christian that these attacks come from Satan, but it's hard not to give in to them. It feels like Satan is always trying to hurt me, reminding me of my mistakes and making me feel guilty. I wonder why he's so determined to ruin my life. What does he gain if I give up?
But as I think about it, I realize that there's only one who can truly save me: Jesus Christ. He's always there for me, ready to fight for me. Just like in the story where Jesus defended a woman who was accused of doing wrong, he stands up for me against my accuser.
I believe that sometimes my accuser disguises himself as someone who seems righteous. The accusations I hear in my heart seem true most of the time, and it's easy to believe them. But just like Jesus told the woman who was caught in sin, he doesn't condemn me either. He wants me to leave behind my mistakes and live a better life.
As a believer in Jesus, he reminds me that I am righteous in his eyes. He doesn't see my flaws; he sees me as perfect. And with him by my side, I can overcome any attack on my heart.
Jesus went to a special place called the Mount of Olives. One morning, he went to the temple where lots of people were gathered. He sat down and started teaching them.
While Jesus was teaching, some religious leaders brought a woman to him. They said she had done something wrong called adultery, which means being unfaithful in marriage. They wanted to know what Jesus thought they should do to her because their law said she should be punished by being hit with stones.
They were trying to trick Jesus, so he bent down and started writing something on the ground. When they kept asking him, he stood up and said, "The person who has never done anything wrong can throw the first stone at her."
After hearing that, the religious leaders left one by one, starting with the older ones. Soon, only Jesus and the woman were left. Jesus asked her if anyone was left to accuse her. She said no. Then Jesus said he wouldn't punish her either, but he told her to stop doing wrong things.
Dear Heavenly Father,
I feel trapped in this situation, unsure of where to turn or how to escape. It seems like there's no way out, and I long for relief. Is there a way, Lord? Do you hear me, Jesus? I feel worthless, like I'm not good enough. My life feels like a constant disappointment to you. These days, even praying feels like a struggle. I'm exhausted and overwhelmed, consumed by feelings of disgust with myself.
Yet, deep down, I know that you, Jesus, don't condemn me. It's me, judging myself relentlessly. I'm filled with anger and can't seem to align my thoughts with your Word. I humbly come to you, Father, asking for forgiveness. My sins feel like they reach the heavens, and I desperately need your mercy and pardon, Lord Jesus. I am lost without you. Please forgive me.
I feel even lower than the woman caught in adultery, unable to even approach your presence. I feel dirty and unworthy of your love and faithfulness. Please, Lord, forgive me. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.

Finances
In the journey of life, finances play an integral role, often stirring up anxiety and stress with their mere mention. As one wise individual remarked, "the cost of living can indeed feel burdensome." Yet, in the face of such worry and fear, a shift is necessary. When our apprehensions drown out our faith, it signals a need for reevaluation.
Though the course of life may steer beyond my control, I retain agency over my reactions, the readiness I maintain, and most importantly, the centrality of faith. Thus, I choose to turn my prayers toward the Divine, seeking clarity of mind and spirit to attune to divine guidance.
Prayer:
Gracious Father above, I am grateful for Your assurance to supply all my needs according to Your riches. When trials loom and concerns mount, may Your Word be my anchor. Your promise in Isaiah 54:17 resonates within me, declaring that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. With a focused resolve on my financial journey this year, I beseech You, Lord, for wisdom, fortitude, and resilience. Though challenges may arise, I hold steadfast to the unwavering trust in Your unfailing Word. Your mercies endure eternally, and in the sacred name of Jesus Christ, I offer this prayer. Amen.

God give me the power to become All You made me to be.
Grant me the strength, O God, to manifest the fullness of your design for me. As I venture into new territories, I am uncertain about the specific calling on my life, but I hold firm in the belief that divine revelation will illuminate my path. I sense that I am positioned where God intends, navigating within my sphere of influence, relying on His power to equip and unlock the doors ahead.
In the grand tapestry of God's plan, I am not an incidental creation but crafted with a distinct purpose. Although the full scope of my purpose eludes me presently, I am steadfast in my conviction that it involves contributing positively to others and magnifying God's glory.
I seek the spiritual mantle of God—grant me strength, humility, kindness, respect, and understanding, aligning me in the proper order of life. My sincere desire is to establish this divine order in every facet of my existence.
Cognizant of the biblical directive that a woman should have a symbol of authority, I submit myself to divinely appointed figures of authority. May the Lord guide me into right relationships with those He has ordained to lead in my life.
In the richness of God's grace, I find assurance that He has provided all things necessary for a life of purpose and godliness. I yearn to unravel the specific promises assigned to me, gaining clarity on my personal journey. The quest for truth about myself and discerning God's will propels me forward in my spiritual growth.
Acknowledging the constant movement in life, I realize that I am either progressing or regressing. With the awareness that nothing is stagnant, I seek the Helper promised by Jesus, the Spirit of truth, to guide and testify to His presence in my life.
Your Word declares, O Lord, that whoever believes in You will have rivers of living water flowing from their heart. I affirm my belief in You, eagerly anticipating the continuous flow of Your living water within and through me. As a spring is renewed with fresh water, I invite Your Holy Spirit to rejuvenate me today and every day that I draw breath.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.

A Yearning for Spiritual Growth and Divine Connection
Luke 12: 32 It is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. John 16: 24 Until now you have aksed nothin in My Name. Ask, and you will receive, tht your joy may be full.
In anticipation of the year ahead, I find myself seeking the Lord's guidance for a profound spiritual journey. My heartfelt desire is to encounter the Holy Spirit, igniting a transformative change within me, dispelling negativity from my heart, and breathing life into seemingly impossible situations.
My aspirations extend beyond personal growth; I earnestly pray for blessings upon my family, friends, and professional endeavors. May the Lord's favor encompass my husband, children, stepchildren, grandchildren, mother, stepfather, sister, brother, and dear friends. Additionally, I hope to be an invaluable asset to my employer, contributing to the company's success while expanding my knowledge, understanding, and wisdom.
Despite the excitement, a tinge of fear accompanies these hopes. I acknowledge my longing for a profound, life-changing walk in faith with God. My desire is not for calamity, divorce, or death, but for a Holy Spirit-inspired awakening, renewing my vision, dreams, and ultimately, my destiny.
With unwavering faith, I declare God as my healer, redeemer, deliverer, strength, and shelter. As I approach the evening, I surrender my fatigue, stress, and burdens to the Lord, seeking renewed strength and release from life's pressures.
In this moment, I affirm my proximity to the Lord, drawing close as promised in James 4:8. My soul yearns for a deeper, more intimate relationship with God, seeking to know Him in every conceivable way. I reject the notion of being "always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth" (2 Timothy 3:7).
Lord, reveal the truth about who You are, for I know You are near to those who call upon You in truth (Psalm 145:18). I open myself to Your work within me, desiring to eliminate anything that hinders my time in Your presence. Let my prayers align with Your will and deepen my understanding of You.
In the dryness of my spiritual thirst, I heed Your invitation, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink" (John 7:37). I come to You, longing for a deeper manifestation of Your presence, yearning to dwell in Your sacred space like never before.

How the Unconditional Love of GOD Shapes My Life
By Yvette van Niekerk
The imagery of someone peering down from a cliff, beholding the ocean's depths, evokes a profound analogy for the human journey. Picture yourself as that individual, standing on the precipice, gazing at the ocean's expanse below. From this vantage point, you notice the stark contrast between the shallow and deep areas of the sea floor. It's akin to the varied phases of our lives—moments of tranquility and security contrasted with unexpected plunges into the unknown depths.
In our life's narrative, we often navigate through what seems to be serene, safe waters. It feels comfortable, familiar, and we traverse through existence with confidence. Yet, abruptly and without warning, we find ourselves treading on unseen, treacherous terrain, akin to inadvertently walking over a hidden underwater cliff.
Consider this scenario through the lens of GOD's omniscient perspective. His vantage point transcends our limited view, encompassing all facets of our existence. GOD, in His infinite wisdom, comprehends our whereabouts in life and our daily pursuits. He stands above, watching, waiting to guide and protect.
Imagine a scenario where we maintain a continuous connection with GOD, seeking His guidance through prayer: "LORD, lead me away from potential harm." In these moments, His divine intervention can divert us from perilous paths. However, when we neglect this connection, when our prayers grow scarce, we find ourselves perilously close to the edge, vulnerable and exposed.
Today, I urge you to rekindle that connection with GOD. Reach out to Him, seeking His counsel and wisdom to navigate the intricacies of each passing day. Know that His love transcends boundaries and conditions—it's steadfast and unwavering.
Let's reflect on the cautionary tale of Lot, Abraham's nephew, as a poignant illustration. Lot's decision to reside among a community of malevolent individuals led to his capture, illustrating the consequences of choosing personal desires over GOD's intended path. How often do we, too, stray from the shelter of GOD's protection, swayed by what seems favorable in the moment, devoid of seeking His divine counsel?
Therefore, I implore the Lord for illumination and understanding in our individual journeys. I surrender everything into His capable hands, entrusting His guidance. Thank You, Lord, for being attentive to my prayers. Guide me on the path towards Your Kingdom, for I earnestly need Your presence, Jesus Christ, in my life. Amen.

Exploring the Impact of Unconditional Love in Our Lives
By Yvette van Niekerk
Contemplating the essence of unconditional love, I ponder its manifestation through personal perception. To me, it embodies acceptance despite my flaws and errors. I believe God extends Agape love, an unconditional affection towards all of us.
The influence of unconditional love shapes my daily existence. Unexpected gifts, received without merit, serve as poignant reminders of this love. For instance, someone might offer me a cherished chocolate—a gesture I didn't earn but graciously received. This simple act reflects the concept beautifully.
Recognizing that God perpetually seeks ways to demonstrate unconditional love is crucial. Amidst recent challenging circumstances, I've been blessed with unexpected blessings. These gifts brought solace, illuminating the truth that life isn't an incessant struggle.
It's paramount for me to embrace the idea that I can encounter God's supernatural blessings in my life. I yearn to feel His enduring love. Isaiah 48 verses 6-7 resonate with me: "God reveals new things, hidden and unknown, created now through prophetic words."
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I acknowledge Your faithful commitment to fulfill Your promises. Thank You for the living and powerful Word that transcends, actively operating and energizing beyond comprehension. Its precision is sharper than any blade, dissecting the deepest essence of our being—our thoughts, intentions, and innermost desires (Hebrews 4:12).
As I engage in my daily tasks, I humbly seek Your divine guidance and protection, asking for the presence of Your angels to assist me through this day. I find contentment in knowing that You provide for all my needs from the abundance of Your glory through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
I surrender every aspect of my life—work, relationships, family, home, and moments of solitude—to Your care. I firmly trust that You accompany me, straightening my path as I navigate through life's journey. I bring my work before You, asking for Your divine intervention and assistance in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Different Types of Fasting and Their Impact on Spiritual Growth
By Yvette van Niekerk
1. Intermittent fasting: This is a dietary approach that alternates periods of eating with periods of fasting. While it's primarily associated with physical health benefits, some people incorporate intermittent fasting into their spiritual practices. It may help improve discipline, self-control, and mindfulness, which can contribute to spiritual growth.
2. Water fasting: This involves abstaining from all food and consuming only water for a specific period. Water fasting is practiced in some spiritual traditions as a means to cleanse the body and mind, enhancing spiritual awareness and promoting a sense of clarity.
3. Partial fasting: In this type of fasting, individuals restrict certain foods or meals but do not entirely abstain from eating. For example, some might fast by avoiding specific foods like meat or certain types of food during specific times, such as Lent in Christianity or Ramadan in Islam. Partial fasting can cultivate discipline and empathy, deepening one's spiritual connection through sacrifice and reflection.
4. Juice fasting: This involves consuming only fruit or vegetable juices and abstaining from solid foods. Some people view juice fasting as a way to detoxify the body and mind, which can potentially lead to heightened spiritual experiences through increased energy and focus.
5. Religious fasting: Different religions have their own fasting traditions, each with its specific rules and significance. For instance, Muslims fast from dawn to sunset during Ramadan, Christians may fast during Lent, and Jews observe fasting on Yom Kippur. These religious fasts often have deep spiritual meanings, emphasizing self-discipline, empathy, reflection, and connection with the divine.
The impact of fasting on spiritual growth can vary for individuals. Some believe fasting helps in purifying the body and mind, fostering self-discipline, empathy for others, and developing a deeper connection with one's spirituality or religious beliefs. It can also encourage mindfulness, self-awareness, and gratitude, creating a conducive environment for spiritual reflection and growth.
However, it's important to approach fasting with moderation and mindfulness, considering individual health conditions and seeking guidance if necessary. Fasting should ideally be accompanied by a sincere intention for spiritual growth rather than merely as a ritual or obligation.
