Matthew 5: 4-5
‘Blessed are those
who mourn, for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.’
Looking at the beatitude and trying to place myself before
God, I have come to a place in my own life.
Asking for forgiveness of sins and in my asking – now - come before God
in ‘poor spirit’. This resulted in my ‘mourning
over my sinful nature’ and praying for forgiveness of my own sin. In my own heart I have come humbly before the LORD God asking Him to forgive
me.
Now correct me if I am wrong, but would you say that I can
use the Sermon on the Mount as a way to guide someone to the LORD Jesus Christ?
I came to the LORD through the reading of the beatitudes.
Be blessed and consider whether your life is right with God,
can you honestly say you will go to heaven the day you put your head down and
rest your body.
Will your spirit be
leaving it and entering heaven?
Bless you, in Jesus Christ’s name.
