Integrity ....

Hebrews 1:9 Amplified Bible (AMP)
You have loved righteousness [You have delighted in integrity, virtue, and uprightness in purpose, thought, and action] and You have hated lawlessness (injustice and iniquity). Therefore God, [even] Your God ([e] Godhead), has anointed You with the oil of exultant joy and gladness above and beyond Your companions.

When people have integrity you will see it in everything they do.  It will be noticeable in their daily work.  They do things diligently and with enthusiasm.  Even when no one is around the work is done properly and with the best intention.  It is probably one of the most difficult things to teach people who have not been exposed to this kind of discipline and they feel you picking on them when you enforce certain rules.  To my mind being good at what you do is important and to be excellent at what you do is even better.  But you have to be able to work hard without someone watching you and checking up on your progress.  I heard a sermon of Joyce Meyers and it struck me that even in a store you should take care of how you do things.  There is always someone that needs to come and ‘pick up’ after you.  Why?  People don’t care.  They just say ‘ah, it’s not my job, that’s why they employ shop attendance’ and you drop clothes on the floor and walk away, not your problem.  Funny you dropped it why not just pick it up?

I like a beautiful set table, I love it when the plates match, the knives and forks are set correctly, and all the condiments are set out on the table with a beautiful clean table cloth.  I seem to have this huge fight in getting the table set the right way.  Maybe one day the penny will drop, in the mean time I pray the Lord to give me wisdom and understanding.

I need to live with integrity, virtue and uprightness in purpose, though and most of all action.  Let my intent be true and may I keep my integrity in everything I do.

God bless you, live your life with righteousness and integrity, virtue, and uprightness in purpose may God bless you as you go through your day.
