School Holidays

I wonder what this holidays will be like.  The kids are home and thank the Lord their Daddy is home too.  Otherwise I would be in an instituted by the end of the holidays, winter at home in the school holidays will be tough I am sure.

I am just glad I don’t have to worry about looking after them too much they are nice and big and look after themselves.

It was really cold this morning, a crisp wind blowing and the air was freezing, or let me say it felt freezing.  It became cloudy and over cast and looks a lot like snow – not we are accustomed to having snow in Witbank.  

My second year in this place and my goodness I would love to find a permanent job and go back to work.  I miss the humdrum of the people around me and I don’t feel so old when in other peoples company.  Now I am not complaining but I really miss the people.

The Lord has been good to me, I have been able to do so much in these past could of months, painting, sowing, gardening, reading and my favourite blogging.

Now then its weekend and it is going to be a cold one it seems, so I hope you are warm wherever you are and may the Lord richly bless you.  My word for today was “Isaiah 41:13 For I the Lord your God hold your right hand; I am the Lord, Who says to you, Fear not; I will help you.”

Lord please keep Your right hand over my life today and help me when I fear, I need Your help today and the following couple of weeks.  In the name of Jesus Christ I pray.  Amen

The Rewards of Serving the Lord God

The good man obtains favour from the LORD
 the righteous obtains prosperity as a reward
The diligent are satisfied fully by the LORD
 the blessings are on a man who helps the needy

Success will overtake you – committing your plans
 to the Lord Jesus Christ
Such are people they continue to plan and plot
 but God’s purpose prevails!

The pursuit of righteousness brings right standing with God
 By fearing the Lord we are taught wisdom and humility
through fearing the Lord we avoid evil
  it’s better to pursues righteousness with God

Lord where are you?

The frost covered lawn
   the trees - bare no leaves
     the water frozen in the pond

Walking across the lawn
  with the frost at my feet
     with the cracking of ice

Cold feelings rush up my legs
  chills come down my back
    crying out for some warmth 

Lord Jesus hear my cry
 lend a hand to my plight
  lost and alone I stand

The trees bear no leaves
  the bark is dark
   the doves watches from on high

A slight breeze between the branches
  a shivering chill down my back
    a small voice behind me, “Here I am”

The Lord spoke to me - softly

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Heb. 13:8

Great and majestic is my Lord.  The Lord is my shield I can go to Him in my hour of need.  The Lord God will protect me and keep me safe.  The Lord God gave His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for my sins.  LORD God You are awesome and wonderful.  I live and breathe because of You I am so honoured to come into Your presence in awe I stand before You this morning.  I give You thanks and praise Your name for all You have done in my life.  Lord You are my King and my God.  I dedicate my life back into Your hands today.  I praise Your Name.  For Lord Your word states that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.  How awesome is that Lord that we may come to You because of Your Son Jesus Christ.

By the Blood of Jesus Christ we are saved.  We may enter Your courts with thanks giving in our hearts and praise in our mouth.  Father God we bring You all the glory and honour and we thank You for the opportunity in being able to stand before You.

Praise You Lord, I will praise You LORD, my soul will praise You.  I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.  Blessed are the people whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God.  You Lord the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them – You LORD God remains faithful forever.  

The Lord sets the prisoners free, the Lords gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the righteous.

The Lord watches over the alien and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.  The Lord reigns forever, your God, O Zion, for all generations.  Praise the Lord.  Psalm 146.  For Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. 

I Love the Lord my God, Jesus Christ

‘If you love me, you will obey my commandments.’ John 14: 15

In humility I come before the Lord God and I stand and accept the commandments in humble obedience to my Lord Jesus Christ, my Lord and Saviour.  I also declare and state that I love the Lord my God with all my heart, body and soul.  

I find myself in the wilderness, I entrust my life into the hands of the Lord my God.  I believe that I am the head and not the tail.  I declare that I am the righteousness of God in Christ.  I believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins and that He rose from the dead in 3 days.  I have eternal life and I can stand before the Lord God through Jesus Christ.

In humility I ask Lord search my heart and mind and help me to repent of any sin that may be within me that which I am aware of as well as that which I do not know of.  I declare Psalm 145: 9 ‘The LORD is good to all; and his tender mercies are over all his works.’  I believe that I am a work in progress and God is still working with me forming into His desired plan.
