“Suffer with”

Psalm 82: 3 – 4 ESV
“Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.”

Showing compassion seems to be a difficult thing in our race. I have noticed that people who are well off and can help will turn a blind eye. The people and race that I honestly don’t believe have a good hair on their heads, will turn around and help.

I remember my friend Janet Pillay and her boyfriend helped me in my time of need. I just got divorced and I couldn’t even afford the tyres on my car. The other problem I had was that struggled with my car’s gears. This would break almost each and every month. I was financially strapped but Janet and Otto didn’t even worry about helping me.

I once got stuck on the side of the road and honestly not one person stopped to assist me and then a black guys stopped to assist me. What is wrong with this picture?

It takes me back to the passage Luke 10 verse 25 to 37.  A man was robbed and injured on the side of the road and all these amazing rich people passed him. Turning a blind eye and then a Samaritan came along felt sorry for the guy. Picked him up and took him to an Inn paying the Inn Keeper to keep an eye on the injured guy. Compassion sure is lacking in our nation. Wow.

Prayer

Abba Father, humbly I pray for guidance and help when it comes to changing my priorities and how I use my time. Lord, help me to give and trust in You in supplying according to my needs. Help me be compassionate towards unfortunate people in our society. Lord help me be the representative of You Lord Jesus, showing others the way forward. Amen

#Goodness

Galatians 5: 22 AMP

“But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness,”

It’s Friday and we need to focus on the fruit of the Spirit, today let’s look at “goodness.” Sometimes I get upset when people pretend to be interested in you but they are busy on their cell phones, sending messages and making calls while you are sitting in their company.

Isn’t it refreshing when someone helps you and you know that you cannot do anything for them in return. They genuinely want to help you and feel its part of their calling. It’s so refreshing to come into contact with people that truly care and show goodness towards people.

I find it so refreshing when people are straight up and not pretending to be something they are not. You know where you stand with them, if they tell you something you can stand on their word. It’s truly refreshing. Honesty is also something they keep close to their heart.

Prayer

Abba Father what a great revelations it is to know You never lie to any of us. You are always good! Thank You Lord for the Lord Jesus Christ and the way You look at each one of us. In the same process Lord help us to change our perspective of the people around us, let us look at people through Your eyes Lord Jesus.  Make me a vessel of Your goodness Lord Jesus, come Holy Spirit and teach and guide me. Amen

Can you name all your blessings you received the last 5 years?

Deuteronomy 28: 2 (AMP)

“All these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you pay attention to the voice of the LORD your God.”

I was asked if I can name all the blessings I received the last couple of years, say for the last 5 years. I thought about it and I actually can name my blessings. I am blessed with work for the past couple of years which seemed impossible.  I thank God for this opportunity and I believe God changes even the Kings heart. Yes, I can also tell about the wonderful experience I have had when it comes to my cake business. I am not very good at calculating my costs but in time I will get there. But praise God even my cakes are doing well.

In my personal life, I am also very blessed, I think of Mothers Day when all my children come and visit me and bring me beautiful gifts. I wasn’t even expecting to see them, praise God for this. I must tell you even during the year when I feel at my lowest my children phone me out of the blue. I truly am blessed.

In my relationship with my husband and stepchildren, I am blessed there as well. I have received unexpected gifts from my husband and stepchildren. I didn’t expect anything from my husband as I know he has bought me a ring and we are waiting for it to be delivered, and he bought me the most beautiful bunch of flower. My heart sang for joy.

Work wise, God has honestly helped me here. I am so grateful for this opportunity, it opens a door for me to do things I could have done otherwise. I praise the Lord for these opportunities.
I read that an Author John Mason said “We typically see things not as they are, but as we are. By how we position ourselves, we’ll see the evidence of God everywhere or nowhere. Too often our minds are locked on one track. We’re looking everywhere, and the answer is under our nose. When a person is positioned correctly, he’s ready to receive all God has for him.”

I believe that I am obedient to God check this link to Deuteronomy 28 verse 2 – 13 in the King James Version.

Can you identify all the blessings in your life for the past 5 years. Sit down and make a note, write them down and give praise offers to the Lord our God.

Prayer

Abba Father, humbly I come into Your presence, bring You praise and I worship at Your feel, I believe Lord that You are a good, good Father, You care deeply about each and everyone of us. I dedicate all my family and friends into Your hands today. I pray for supernatural blessings for our obedience. In the Holy Name of Jesus Christ my Lord and my Saviour. Amen

Clothe in Righteousness

Today I clothe myself in the righteousness of God; I am the righteousness of God in Christ.

2 Corinthians 5: 21 AMP

“He made Christ who knew no sin to [judicially] be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we would become the righteousness of God [that is, we would be made acceptable to Him and placed in a right relationship with Him by His gracious lovingkindness].”

Who am I in Christ? I am a born again child of God, the minute I accepted Jesus Christ of Nazareth into my life, I became the righteousness of God in Christ. I know my Lord gave His life for me a sinner so that I am able to go to heaven.

I love the Lord Jesus Christ with all my heart, body and soul. I want to worship Him and give praise to His Holy Name. The Lord sits with God in heaven and when we approach God through Jesus Christ God doesn’t see our sins because we are clothed in righteousness.

I am the righteousness of God in Christ. I am His child. I love and adore Him.

I draw near to God each and every day and it is my heart’s desire to please God. Do my best and live my best life now. I am His child and I want Him to be proud of me.

Prayer

Abba Father, O LORD teaches me to always be aware of who I am in You. Holy Spirit please touches my life and draw me near to You. Remind me who I am in Jesus Christ and put on the righteousness of God in Christ each and every day. I want to praise and worship at your feet in Jesus name. Amen
