What You Know About God Working It “For Your Good” And What You Don’t Know About God Working It “For Your Good.”

Deuteronomy 29: 29 AMP
“The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things which are revealed and disclosed belong to us and to our children forever, so that we may do all of the words of this law.”

When your life is plain sailing and things are great you don’t even consider “for your good.” But let things take a turn and your life comes unstuck, that’s when you wonder why “for your good?” How can difficult times be good for you?

In those days when I was struggling and suffering with difficulties I was reminded “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.” It’s difficult to do that when you are faced with adversaries. People that you trusted and thought had your back were out to get you. When you can’t see the outcome and you are plagued by fear it’s hard to see “we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8: 28

Now looking back those where the days I grew spiritually, I had placed my hope in the Lord my God. I was going through so much but I wouldn’t let go of the LORD. I didn’t know what the outcome would be but I trusted God.

Today I have left all that behind me, I cut the person off and moved on. I forgave them and ask God to help me with my own life. I don’t want to be caught up in that mess ever again.

Prayer

Lord God, You are awesome, You know best. When we are in trouble and don’t know which way to turn, You are there for us. Thank You for helping me get through those terrible days. Thank You for Your loving-kindness and understanding. I love and adore You, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen

“For we also are His children.”

Acts 17: 28 AMP
“For in Him we live and exist [that is, in Him we actually have our being], as even some of your own poets have said, “For we also are His children.””

I was thinking about this and it struck me that we live in a society that “loves” everything. I ask myself the question do we truly Love the Lord our God? Or do we look for love in all the wrong places?

Do you love your neighbor? Do you love your family? Do you Love God?

Sometimes I don’t love my neighbour or my family, they make me mad and I don’t want to even look their way. Do I love God? I believe that I love God. I have committed my life to the Lord Jesus and I accepted the Lord into my life.

And thinking about this statement “For we also are His children” brightens my face and makes me super happy. My life is in God’s hand and I know that God first loved me so I can love Him back.

Prayer

Lord I love You, I love You, I do. Today thank You that I can brag about my love for You. You lift me up, You called me by my name, I belong to You. I worship You in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

Lord God, I am asking You for Your Supernatural Favour today!

2 Corinthians 5: 21 AMP
“He made Christ who knew no sin to [judicially] be sin on our behalf so that in Him we would become the righteousness of God [that is, we would be made acceptable to Him and placed in a right relationship with Him by His gracious lovingkindness].”

It is my heart’s desire Lord, Abba Father that You O LORD, will bless my life and that You will surround me with Your shield of favour. I realize and understand that I am not worthy of any of Your grace or favour but I do come before You as the Righteousness of God in Christ.

Lord, I realize that when You favour me I will also enjoy the favour of the people around me. I am calling out to You today, please Lord encircle me with Your shield of favour.

Prayer

I believe Lord God, that You do have a plan for my life. As I sit in my office today I want to cry out to You in humbleness asking that You will encircle me with Your favour that this will cover my life today and the rest of my life. I love and adore You Lord and thank you for Your supernatural favour in my life as well as with people. In the Holy Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen

Praying for Israel

1 Samuel 12: 22 AMP

“The LORD will not abandon His people for His great name’s sake, because the LORD has been pleased to make you a people for Himself.”

Today in humility I stand before the LORD my God and I pray for His people, the Jews and Israel. I want to ask that we will pray for their Prime Minister, their Mayor also including all in military service. I want to ask that you will come with me in agreement that they will rise up government leaders in Israel (and worldwide) who will not seek to “divide the land,” and who would recognize the unique significance of Jerusalem in God’s end-time purposes.

Prayer

Abba Father, humbly I stand before You today and I want to pray for Israel, the Prime Minister, the Mayor of Jerusalem and the Military Services as well as world leaders. I want to pray that You will send Your angels to protect Your people. I have heard they are under attack, I pray for their salvation and I ask for their protection. I pray this in the Holy name of Your Son Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen

Change me Holy Spirit

Psalm 139: 23 – 24 ESV

“Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”

Lord each and every day of my life is before You and Lord God You know me better than I even know myself. As I meditate on these words today I want to ask You humbly come and search me. Lord, I want to ask You to take a look at what I should be changing.

Each day I dedicate my life into Your hands and I draw near to You on a daily basis. I have come before You and I humbly confess my sins. I pray and accept that You have forgiven me. Lord in humility I also ask to forgive those who come up against me. I forgive them and set them free in the name of your Son Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Lord, I want to ask You today to show me if I have grievous ways and how I can repent of my grievous ways. I am asking You to guide me in the way everlasting. I want to become more and more like You Lord Jesus.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, Lord humbly I stand in Your presence today, O LORD if I have failed You knowingly or unknowingly I humbly pray for forgiveness of sins. I want to praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.  Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. Praise You Lord, my God, in the Holy name of Your Son Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen

Thank You, LORD #Thursday

Psalm 138: 1 ESV
Give Thanks to the LORD
Of David
“I give you thanks, O LORD, with my whole heart; before the gods, I sing your praise;”

LORD my God if I have any iniquity in heart, soul or mind, humbly I ask please forgive me. I want to come into Your presence and bring You praise.

It’s another Thursday and I wanted to bring praise and honour to the LORD my God for all the blessings in my own life. I am grateful for the good husband God has given me, I am grateful for two stepchildren which I can teach about the Lord God. I am grateful for my own three children and my three beautiful granddaughters. God has been faithful in that He watches over my children each and every day. (Stepchildren, own children and my granddaughters).

I can only stand before God with a heart full of praise, I can only say thank You Lord for all the good things I have.  I bow myself down before You LORD my God and I want to give You thanks.  LORD thank You for Your steadfast love and Your faithfulness. LORD God, You are exalted above all things Your name and Your word.

LORD although You are on high You still regard me the lowly, LORD though I walk in the midst of trouble, You preserve my life; You stretch out Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand delivers me.

Prayer

LORD my God I say thank You that You will fulfil YOUR purpose for me; Your steadfast love, O LORD, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of Your hands. I praise You, in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen

Live like I am Royalty

Hebrew 1: 3 AMP
“The Son is the radiance and only expression of the glory of [our awesome] God [reflecting God’s Shekinah glory, the Light-being, the brilliant light of the divine], and the exact representation and perfect imprint of His [Father’s] essence, and upholding and maintaining and propelling all things [the entire physical and spiritual universe] by His powerful word [carrying the universe along to its predetermined goal]. When He [Himself and no other] had [by offering Himself on the cross as a sacrifice for sin] accomplished purification from sin and established our freedom from guilt, He sat down [revealing His completed work] at the right hand of the Majesty on high [revealing His Divine authority],”

What an awesome God we serve, I know that the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth died for my sins and He rose and sits on the right hand of the Father God. He also sent the Holy Spirit to help me. I have come to a place in my life that makes me think about my position. As Child of God, I need to draw from Him each and every day. Every minute of my life is in God’s hands.

The thing is I forget sometimes that I am a child of God, He chose me before I chose Him. He called me by my name, He knows where I live, He loves me just as I am. I then start focusing on things in my life and lose sight of what God’s doing for me. Shamefully I miss the point and it struck me as I reflected on my past. There are times in my life I am 100% focused on God and His Word. I am walking in victory because I know who I am in Christ. Then the devil comes with thoughts that throw me.

Prayer

Abba Father, thank You that I can say I am royalty, I have been adopted as Your child what an honour and privilege. You are an Awesome God, I love and adore You, bring You praise and Honor, the Holy Spirit is living in me, guiding me and showing me new and wonderful things. My mind is being renewed each and every day. Holy Spirit thank You for the changes in my personal life. Lord Jesus thank You for answered prayer. Amen

Poor choices

2 Timothy 4: 7 AMP
“I have fought the good and worthy and noble fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith [firmly guarding the gospel against error].”

If there is someone that has made numerous mistakes, then I am that person. They say the older you get the more you reflect and regret. Looking back on my own life I have many regrets.

As I think about Paul who wrote these precious words it struck me that God is still in control. Yes, I made poor choices and some I feel were detrimental too. I constantly feel bad about the decisions I made but at the end of the day it’s water under the bridge and there is nothing I can do to undo what I did.

In the meantime, God has been working and I have become more aware of Him in my life. I realise that I am changing each day, bit by bit. If you live with me you will understand the changes that are happening in my life. If you don’t know me that well you might think I have always been so nice.

Prayer
Abba Father, thank You, for second, third and many chances with You. As I reflect on my past I realize I have slipped up badly and made such bad decisions. Please, Lord, I have brought it to Your throne, forgive me.

I dedicate my life back into Your hands and I pray that You will release Your Holy Spirit over each and every person reading my blog today. Touching their lives, bringing miracles, healing and supernatural favour with You Lord and with people. Blessing untold, in the Holy Name of Your Son Jesus Christ. Amen

Goodness

Psalm 34:8 (NIV)
Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.

The Lord is good; He is good in the good times as well as in the bad times. Psalm 34: 8 tell us “Taste and see that the Lord is good.”

We went through some really bad times; we didn’t have food on our table to eat. Someone came along and gave us sirloin steaks for 3 months. The best meat ever! We never asked for the meat they said: “the Lord said we should bring this over to your house.”

It was such a blessing to our house, we believed God for some many things and each time He came through for us. Also, just remember the bad times, your character is pulled and plucked, it is painful and many time it’s embarrassing. The growth, on the other hand, is awesome.

Prayer

Abba Father thank You, Lord, for Your goodness, we go through bad times and life seems unfair and we may feel alone when in fact You are right here with us. Thank You, Lord, for helping us, in Jesus Name. Amen
