Hello World, Yvette's Inspiration at 12 GMT +2 today

Good Morning

Hello World, Yvette’s Inspirations today at 12 GMT +2.  Come and join me today and listen to my thoughts and inspirations.

I am on the quest of finding out what my purpose is in life and am looking at Stormie’s book on a praying woman.  Something I am worried about is “discovering my God-given assignment.”

Have you discovered your God-given Assignment?  I am listening and waiting on the Lord for guidance on my own life’s assignment.

Thank You

God Bless you today

Today's Golden Rule

Proverbs 16: 32 ESV “Whoever is slow to anger is better than the mighty and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.”
Proverbs 19: 11 ESV “Good sense makes one slow to anger, and it is his glory to overlook an offense.”
Proverbs 14: 17 ESV “A man of quick temper acts foolishly, and a man of evil devices is hated.”
James 1: 19 ESV Hearing and Doing the Word “Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger;”

The art of listening is something each person should learn.  We are reminded that God spoke to us a very long time ago about this very important factor.  In Proverbs we are reminded that we should be slow to anger and watch our tempers.

James in the New Testament also reminds us that we should “be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to being angry.”  I know live in the real world and people are fickle and can make one so angry.  This where the Golden Rule of life will come into play, we should watch our words and guard our hearts.  Let’s not take everything literally and let’s be patient with people.  You know they might be facing some difficulties and not always thinking.  People under pressure become reactive and rarely listen.

I don’t know if this will apply in your life but for today apply this one “golden rule.”

Prayer

Lord as we meditate and think on Your Word today please help us to be quick to listen and slow to becoming angry and slow to speaking out.  We struggle with our ego’s and we allow our flesh to rise up and control our lives.  Forgive us for being so egotistical as we repent today asking for the Holy Spirits help in our own lives.  We ask this in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen

I've been called by God

Hebrews 10: 35 “do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward.”

I have noticed that many times I feel so uncomfortable and that I just don’t fit in.  I was thinking about that but then I read that when God called Jeremiah He said “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, sanctified you and I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”  Now I am not saying I am a Jeremiah but I believe that God also knew me when I was in my mother’s womb and I also believe that I have been sanctified.

I say God called me and that God “scheduled each day of my life before I began to breathe.” Psalms 139: 16

So whatever I am doing right now must be in God’s will for my life.  I am not perfect and believe that God is still working on me.

Because I feel set apart [sanctified] from other people I believe God made it that way so that I will look for Him.  I will search for Him because it is with Him that I feel comfortable. Sometimes people around me make me feel very uncomfortable and I think those are the people I seem to avoid.

I believe that I am ordained by God to be a specific person I am. I am unique and I my uniqueness is what draws many people towards me.

Prayer
Lord help me to cling to You each and every day, yes, I don’t always fit in and my life seems difficult because of that.  I do want to pray for supernatural favor with You Lord as well as with people, I cannot do this on my own and I need Your guidance.  In the Name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen

Why don't you do it with "gusto?"

Ecclesiastes 9: 10 NIV “Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dream, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.”

My neighbor laughed at me the other day while I was hanging out washing.  He called me over and asked me “Are you in a relationship with your washing line?”  I asked him “Why?”  He said, well I noticed that you are all dressed up, hair and make-up.   I just laughed at him, seriously.

O my goodness, I feel that doing washing is part of my daily chores and I should do it to the best of my abilities.  I like to hang out the washing in a specific way and take it down in a specific way.  I feel happy when my clothes are fresh and I don’t have so much ironing.

When I bake cakes I really work hard at doing the best I can.  My cake toppers need to be exactly the way I wanted it.  I strive in doing everything to the best of my ability.

Prayer

Please Lord Jesus, help me to work with gusto and do my very best.   I need Your helping hand in everything I do, please Lord.  I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ.  Amen

What in your life is holding you back?

Proverbs 23: 7 NKJV “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he,”

I have been thinking about a number of questions and what the effects of these questions have on my life.  One of the questions that was raised is “how do you feel about yourself?”  I feel good about myself; I have made changes in my own life.  I wanted to lose weight and I managed to loose 11kg and I feel great.  I can see the difference and it makes me feel good.

The other question that I really don’t want to face is “when do you feel the most negative about yourself?”  I think I feel negatively about myself when people “disregard me or disrespect me.”  I also take offense when people lie to me.  When I feel people are rude and make an effort to make me mad.

This question is almost too close to home but here it is “what causes the greatest problems when dealing with others?”  I think this one is about resentment; you may have done something to me thinking that I would not find out.  The sad part is I did and because of your actions I start to resent you and make it my business to show you what I feel.

Prayer

Lord You know my heart and that I am truly trying to change my life around.  Yes there are problems I cannot face today but I am asking Holy Spirit help me sort them out in the Name of Jesus Christ I pray.  Amen
