Trusting God to turn my mess into a message

2 Corinthians 3: 18

“And we all, with unveiled face,
beholding the glory of the Lord,
are being transformed into the
same image from one degree of
glory to another. For this comes
from the Lord who is the Spirit.”

Travelling on this road going somewhere with people in my life, I feel that my life has been a mess. I am obviously speaking to God about my mess. I need guidance, I am asking that the veil is removed from my eyes and I want to be transformed into the same image God wants me to take.

I find looking back I think everything was and still is a mess. But as I look back I can see how each piece of the puzzle fits together. At the time I didn’t know my elbow from my toe and now the picture is a little clearer. I have learned that when I set goals for myself, it actually comes into being.

I know it sounds crazy but it sure does. I was paging through one of my love story books and came across my goal list for a certain year. To my, surprise each and every goal on my list actually materialized.

Prayer

Lord, humbly I pray about my mess, it is clear that from my point of view I am unable to change a thing. I feel that I am being misunderstood and constantly boycotted. I bring this matter to You and ask that You will help me. Please help me turn my mess into a message. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

Galatians 6:10

Therefore, as we have opportunity,

let us do good to all people,

especially to those who belong

to the family of

believers.

I think we all have the opportunity to do good to all people.  You know the "car guard" waiting around for R2 you carry in your purse for watching your car.  Both you and I know that they cannot prevent someone from stealing your car.  But guess what we still give them the R2.

In your movie do you play the main character or are you just a spectator watching the movie?  You are the main character and you set the tone.  You have the ability to either bless someone or not, we all do.

I think we are all mentors to someone in our lives.  There is a little girl or boy watching you, learning from you whether you know it or not.

Lord help me to please live a God-focused life, focusing on You.  You are my world I love You with all my heart.  Amen

Be a generous giver.

2 Corinthians 9: 6-8
“Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will
also reap sparingly,
and whoever sows generously
will also reap generously.
Each of you should give what you have
decided in your heart to give,
not reluctantly or under compulsion,
for God loves a cheerful giver.
And God is able to bless you abundantly,
so that in all things at all time,
having all that you need,
you will abound in every good work.”

It is Christmas time and we really should open our hearts to people in need.  You know the guy begging on the side of the road.  The elderly sitting all alone in their little rooms. Let us extend a generous hand towards the needy.

We are God’s stewards, our money has been entrusted to us to use wisely, we have the ability to spend all the cash we earn all of ourselves.  How about spending some money on a meal for someone in need this Christmas.

Give lovingly and without a grudge.  God said that He will bless you abundantly.  Tithings are also part of our praise and worship to the LORD.  The extra you give will come back to you.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, as we spend this time with our family and friends we also want to give to the poor and needy.  Open our eyes and help us to be generous with a happy heart.  Let us give without being grudging.  In the Holy Name of Jesus Christ, Amen

Who is your encourager?

Romans 16: 1-2 (HCSB)
“I commend to you our sister Phoebe,
who is a servant of the church in Cenchreae.
So you should welcome her in the LORD

In a manner worthy of the saints
and assist her in whatever matter she may
require your help.
For indeed she has been a
benefactor of many
- and for me also.”

We all need encouragement and I am so fortunate to have people in my life that always encourage me.  Odette my daughter seems to be in tune with me and she constantly encourages me.  Andus my husband also knows when I am feeling down and in need of encouragement. 

I looked at this scripture and it is clear Phoebe is a servant of the church in Cenchreae.  She is constantly busy working with the people and helping where she can.  Paul is reminding the church to help her in whatever she needs. 

My husband constantly is by my side coaching me and reminding me that I am able to do whatever I put my mind to.  I must say thank you Andus, you and Odette seem to be in my movie every day.  I appreciate the encouragement and coaching.

Prayer

Lord today I want to pray asking that You will send people into our lives that can help us with specific problems. We need coaches and mentors, people willing to spend time with us and show us the way forward. Lord, I love You, in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.  Amen

Abounding in God’s supernatural key component #1

Acts 2: 47
“Praising God and enjoying the
favor of all the people.
And the Lord added to
their number daily
those who were being saved.”

I believe you and I both want to abound in God’s supernatural favor.  I know that I want to enjoy God’s supernatural favor each and every minute of each day in my own life.

In fact, I am constantly expecting God’s supernatural favor in my own life daily.  I think that the answer to receiving this supernatural favor lay in the praising of God.  We need to openly and undeniably praise God all the time.

I like to use scripture, let us use 1 Chronicles 16: 23-31 “Sing to the LORD, all the earth; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvellous deeds among all peoples. For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the LORD made the heavens. Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and joy are in his dwelling place.  Ascribe to the LORD, all you families of nations, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; bring an offering and come before him.  Worship the LORD in the splendour of his holiness. Tremble before him, all the earth! The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved. Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let them say among the nations, “The LORD reigns!”

Prayer

Heavenly Father in all humility I come before You today, I want to praise Your Holy Name, Lord I want to sing praises to YOUR Holy Name.  I want to say thank You, thank You, thank You for the splendor of our beautiful world.  Proclaiming Your salvation to all the world, the wonder of your creation.  I am so grateful that You have allowed me to come into Your presence.  I believe that I am the righteousness of God in Christ.  Humbly Lord thank You for this time.  I praise and worship You.  I bring honor and glory to Your Holy Name.  I want to draw near to You in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.  Amen

Put on a garment of supernatural favor.

Genesis 39: 21
“But the Lord was with Joseph,
and shewed him mercy,
and gave him favor
in the sight of the keeper
of the prison.”

Today I want to put on a garment of supernatural favor.  The first thing people come into contact with will be my shield of favor.  How is this possible? I believe that I am the righteousness of God in Christ.  I believe that I am accepted and righteous through the Blood of Jesus Christ.

Today I believe I enjoy God’s favor which surrounds me like a shield and is the first thing people come into contact with.

I am dressed for success and I feel that I am able to motivate and inspire each one of you.  Look what the LORD did for Joseph when he was in prison.  Joseph had supernatural favor with the prison keeper. 

God stretches each one of us sometimes we feel that we are on the edge of a difficult situation and then we become fearful.  Stop don’t be afraid because God is in control He will catch you if you fall and if not you will be strengthened in the process.

Prayer

Lord, humbly I come and put on your garment of supernatural favor for my own life.  Lord, I am clothed with the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Covered from head to toes please show favor and mercy to each person reading this blog today.  Holy Spirit touches each person lives and guides them in the Holy name of Jesus Christ.  Amen
