Is your name in the "Book of Remembrance?"

Malachi 3: 16 NKJV “A Book of Remembrance - Then those who feared the LORD spoke to one another, and the LORD listened and heard them; so a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the LORD and who meditate on His name.”

I have heard my friends telling me that time flies because God has shortened time for the elect.  Are you one of the elect? Is your name written in the “Book of Remembrance?”

Glory to God Almighty who was, who is and is to come.  It is my heart’s desire to be part of the “Bride” of Christ.  I meditate and study God’s word as often as possible.  I believe because I have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour.

My God has called me by my name; I know that I belong to Him.  He holds my right hand and I am safe all the time in His presence.  I believe that my name will also be in the “Book of Remembrance.”

Prayer

Lord, thank You for Your word, I believe that my name is written in Your Book of Remembrance.  I love and adore You, thank You so much.  In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen

Do not give up on life!

Matthew 12: 20 NIV “A bruised reed He will not break, and a smoldering wick He will not snuff out.”

As I reflect on my life I am telling you that I feel that I have missed the mark more than once.  Thank the Lord for giving me a second, third and many more chances.  I want to make sure that I find out what my purpose in life is and that I at least fulfill it.  I am currently thinking I am the bruised reed and thank the Lord for not snuffing me out.

I have the opportunity of trying again; seeking Him out so that I can grow and become all that He has called me to be.  Sometimes we just think nothing is going my way, those are the time we should wait on the Lord.

Of all of God’s kids, I believe that I am the one that gives Him the most headaches.  As I sin, I realize it and pray Please Lord forgive me.  I humbly ask for forgiveness of sin.  I realize that I am not perfect and I need God’s grace each and every day.

Prayer

Lord thank You for never giving up on me.  Thank You, that I am able to receive a second chance in life and that You still have more install for me.  I humbly ask forgive me today if I have sinned knowingly or un-knowingly against You or any other person.

Lord I ask this in the precious name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Amen

Stop Holding Grudges

Colossians 3: 14 CEV “Love is more important than anything else. It is what ties everything completely together.”

The guy that hurt me so many years ago still haunts me today and this made me realize that I am carrying a grudge around.  As I meditate and think about the problems in my own life I realize that most of it is attached to people who either offended me or actually hurt me.

Hear this right now, I declare in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth that I set you free and forgive you for the pain and hurt you caused in my life.  I forgive you and I ask the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth to forgive me too, for holding onto past hurts and pains.

As I take hold of my thoughts and mind in the Name of Jesus Christ I will choose to love and not allow any past hurts and pains to chase me down.

As I clothe myself with the Lord Jesus Christ today, I believe that the Holy Spirit will teach me and guide me.  I love my husband and my family whole heatedly and I choose to see only the good in each person trusting in God to cover them with the Love of Jesus Christ.  This ties and holds everything completely together as God has said it.

Prayer

Please Lord help me today to choose my thoughts according to Your loving kindness.  I love and adore my husband and family.  I choose to be right with You, in Jesus Christ’s Name.  Amen

Standing on the edge of a cliff!

I almost fell over the cliff!

Psalm 73: 2 TLB “I came so close to the edge.”

One thing is for sure we all face trials and tribulations in our own lives.  The secret to dealing with these trials and tribulations are “your attitude.”

No one really knows what I face and how I approach life, you may think I have it plain sailings when in fact my life is quite the opposite.

Asaph is the author of this Psalm 73 and a number of other Psalms. When you read the Psalms closely you will note that Asaph had his own set of trials and tribulations.  He fell sick, he had personal problems. So to my mind Asaph was a guy just like anyone we know. 

Something I realized is that if you allow circumstances to take over your life, you are going to fall over the cliff.  If you do not take a stand and not allow these things to carry on, you would have won the battle raging against you. Yes, of course life happens to everybody, the thing is are you going to take a positive stand and make the necessary decisions or let it just happen?

By not making a decision, you actually made a decision.  

Prayer

Lord each time I feel that I am too close to the edge, please take my hand and pull me closer to You.  My life is so full of little things, I forget about the big important one.  Lord here I am an open book, look through my life, help me change and become more like the Lord Jesus. Amen
