[Activating] Holy Spirit start activating each of us.



Hebrews 4:12 (NLT)

12 For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.
  
May I encourage you today that when hearing the Word of God spoken you know that it is alive and full of power; this power is active, operative, energizing and effective in your own life.  There is something magnificent about the word it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing lines of the breath of life your soul and spirit [the immortal].  It can also divide between joints and marrow into the deepest parts of our nature.  Exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purpose of our hearts. [AMPC translation]

Reading these words today I want to ask the Holy Spirit to activate these words in all our lives.  For you and for me, renewing our minds, creating within us the ability to understand the Word of God and realize what our true purpose is on this earth.


Prayer

O Lord as we read these words today we pray that Your Words will be activated in our lives today through the Holy Spirit, energizing and affecting each of our lives.  Lord we pray that it will penetrate and dived between our souls and spirit.  Exposing and sifting and analysing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of our heart, creating within us a pure heart and clean spirit.  In Jesus; Holy Name.  Amen

2nd Wedding Anniversary!

Hey, hey it is my 2 nd anniversary!   This has been an interesting time in my life and I must be honest I am starting to see the changes in my own life.    Firstly remember I am a city girl with this bad ass attitude, my way or the highway.   Ah, now let me tell you that doesn’t work like this.   My husband has a firm hand over me and keeps me in toe.   I am still my own person and have many new interests.    How was my day today?   Well the normal, got out of bed at 04h30 and then left the house by 06h00 arriving at work at 07h00.   Then to top it off in an early morning meeting at 07h30 to 08h30, then back in the office.   I worked on three projects; getting information from people isn’t that easy.   I firstly completed my own scope of work, followed up with the suppliers and then going back to the next person.   As I work according to my time keeping schedule I then finally got to lunch time.   I...

Luke 22: 27 "who is greater, he who sits at the table, or he who serves?" To serve people isn't always easy, I find you start feeling like a servant. But to grow spiritually I feel that I need to be of service to my fellow friend God has been so good to me I am able to bake cakes decorating them according to the spec My service to my friends is important to me. I am grateful that I can bake cakes Being of service to others. God is in control and always making a way for me. Wisdom in Trusting God

Proverbs 3: 5-6 NIV “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.” My journey has been really interesting and there are days when I find it really difficult to trust in God.  On those days I go and make all kinds of plans and I think and worry about the matter at hand and at the end of that day I am tired, frustrated and I feel sick to my stomach.  Are you able to relate?   It sounds so easy when you read these words “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;”  Many times I take my problems to the LORD and I leave them with the LORD and after some serious thinking and worrying I go back to the LORD and take the problems back.
