“He disarmed the rulers and authorities …”

Colossians 2 : 13 – 15 (HCSB)

“And when you were dead in trespasses and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive with Him and forgave us all our trespasses.  He erased the certificate of debt, with its obligations, that was against us and opposed to us, and has taken it out of the way by nailing it to the cross.  He disarmed the rulers and authorities and disgraced them publicly; He triumphed over them by Him.”

Something to remind yourself of is that many times a little voice will come and remind you of something you had done in your past.  Most of the time you will listen to the voice and forget the most important part of your life is still ahead of you.  While you are listening to this little voice telling you how bad you are and are you truly a Child of the Living God?  Then you should tell that little voice to “keep quiet” and remind the little voice that you have been bought by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Keep this scripture and meditate on it today and don’t forget Jesus took away the keys of death from Satan.

Today lift up your head, in the knowing that God shamed the powers and rulers and authorities and disgraced them publicly through the cross, Jesus Christ triumphed over them.

If there is something haunting you and you feel that you just cannot get past it, I want to encourage you today to take a moment, pray about it.  Write it out and place it before the throne of God, plead the blood of Jesus Christ over it, and accept that you have been forgiven.

You are a blessing.
