The Names of God #I_AM_WHO_I_AM

Exodus 3: 13-15 ESV “Then Moses said to God, “If I come to the people of Israel and say to them, “The God of your fathers has sent me to you,” and they ask me, “What is his name?” what shall I say to them?” God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And he said, “Say this to the people of Israel: “I AM has sent me to you.” God also said to Moses, “Say this to the people of Israel: “The LORD, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.” This is my name forever, and thus I am to be remembered through all generations.”

Today we are focusing on the Jehovah’s names. The name of the Independent and self-complete being is “I AM WHO I AM” – this name only belongs to God.

I wonder whether we truly understand God and if we truly worship Him the way we should when we hear this awesome name do we actually fall down in fear and awe of WHO God truly is? Let’s be honest now days we have become too familiar with God, He is the Old man upstairs and He is the Creator.

LORD I am trying in my own way to come and worship YOU. I want to make it know that I love and adore YOU. I dedicate my life into YOUR hands. You LORD are the One who created the earth and everything in it. YOU create man and woman. YOU are the ONE who sustains us and I want to bring YOU praise.

LORD I love and adore YOU. I want to come before YOU in humility and worship YOU. Thank YOU LORD for this day. Thank YOU LORD for answered prayers. THANK YOU LORD for giving me this opportunity to praise YOUR HOLY NAME.

HOLY HOLY HOLY is YOU LORD GOD Almighty. LORD “I AM WHO I AM” I praise YOUR HOLY Name.

Prayer
I AM WHO I AM, thank You that I am able to come to YOU. I want to bring YOU praise and thank YOU for this day. You are in control of my life and I want to pray for family and friends. Protect each person I love dearly and watch over each one of us today. Bless YOU LORD I worship and adore YOU. You are my All and All. In the Holy name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen

2nd Wedding Anniversary!

Hey, hey it is my 2 nd anniversary!   This has been an interesting time in my life and I must be honest I am starting to see the changes in my own life.    Firstly remember I am a city girl with this bad ass attitude, my way or the highway.   Ah, now let me tell you that doesn’t work like this.   My husband has a firm hand over me and keeps me in toe.   I am still my own person and have many new interests.    How was my day today?   Well the normal, got out of bed at 04h30 and then left the house by 06h00 arriving at work at 07h00.   Then to top it off in an early morning meeting at 07h30 to 08h30, then back in the office.   I worked on three projects; getting information from people isn’t that easy.   I firstly completed my own scope of work, followed up with the suppliers and then going back to the next person.   As I work according to my time keeping schedule I then finally got to lunch time.   I...

Wisdom in Trusting God

Proverbs 3: 5-6 NIV “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.” My journey has been really interesting and there are days when I find it really difficult to trust in God.  On those days I go and make all kinds of plans and I think and worry about the matter at hand and at the end of that day I am tired, frustrated and I feel sick to my stomach.  Are you able to relate?   It sounds so easy when you read these words “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;”  Many times I take my problems to the LORD and I leave them with the LORD and after some serious thinking and worrying I go back to the LORD and take the problems back. This has been something I did for a number of years and lately, I have realized it has to change, I have to trust in the LORD.  After all, God is the creator and knows the plans for...
