Calling God’s Blessing Into my Life!

Malachi 3: 10 AMP

“Bring all the tithes (the tenth) into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this,” says the LORD of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you [so great] a blessings until there is no more room to receive it.”

How do you view blessings from God?  I used to think God needed to bless me financially, I thought it was the only way I would be blessed. As I grow older I realised that God’s blessings are in small unexpected gifts. I believe God sees a need and sends someone to address that specific need. I think God used people to do His work and we should be obedient in that way.

I know God uses all kinds of people to help others. We are His hands and feet without obedient Christians we cannot perform God’s work. I look at the people out there and I see that there is a need but there aren’t that many people out there that want to help.

Let’s bless other people when you see a need and you are able to assist them, why don’t you take action and do something. You might just be serving an angle of the LORD.

I think of St. Martin, he was a soldier and saw a poor beggar lying on the side of the road. It was freezing cold. Martin took his cloak and cut it in half and covered the poor guy.  He tried to help him as best he could.  That night in a vision the Lord Jesus Christ appeared to him. After this encounter Martin’s life changed drastically.

We are all looking for an encounter with the LORD, I know that I am.

Prayer
Lord, we give when we think about it but today help each one of us to give and see how You will come and speak to us. Lord I believe that we are Your hands and feet here on earth, enable each one of us to do the work You wanted us to do. Lord, thank You for Your lovingkindness and thank You for Your wisdom, insight and understanding.  In the holy name of Jesus Christ my Lord and Saviour. Amen

2nd Wedding Anniversary!

Hey, hey it is my 2 nd anniversary!   This has been an interesting time in my life and I must be honest I am starting to see the changes in my own life.    Firstly remember I am a city girl with this bad ass attitude, my way or the highway.   Ah, now let me tell you that doesn’t work like this.   My husband has a firm hand over me and keeps me in toe.   I am still my own person and have many new interests.    How was my day today?   Well the normal, got out of bed at 04h30 and then left the house by 06h00 arriving at work at 07h00.   Then to top it off in an early morning meeting at 07h30 to 08h30, then back in the office.   I worked on three projects; getting information from people isn’t that easy.   I firstly completed my own scope of work, followed up with the suppliers and then going back to the next person.   As I work according to my time keeping schedule I then finally got to lunch time.   I...

~ Reach Out if You Wish to Succeed ~ Galatians 5:13 – “By love, serve one another.”

Gentle reader, Permit me to offer this quiet truth: success does not arrive on satin cushions, announced by trumpets or tapping politely at your parlour door. No — it is more elusive, more noble in its pursuit. It often hides itself behind connections yet to be made, and relationships yet to be pursued. To flourish in this life, one must be bound — not by title or fortune — but by divine connection. For those who are destined to elevate you may not arrive unbidden. More often, it is you who must summon the courage to seek them out. Let us consider the evidence: Why is the newspaper sold on every corner, and the soda machine placed on every floor? Because success is positioned where the people are. Even our beloved Lord, Jesus — did He sit upon a high throne in a palace, declaring, “Only here may you find Me?” Certainly not. He moved among the people — to the market stalls, along the dusty shores where fishermen cast their nets, into the synagogues and modest homes. “He went through...
